Hello eatandspendahaolic

You'll find that most of us have a lot of things in common. I think a lot of people in this situation are looking for something to fill a void or making themselves feel better.
I think women in general often look for men to make them feel good, or turn to comfort eating, alcohol or shopping..
I haven't come across any men with shopping addictions.
Whoever mentioned making sandwiches with prawn flavour crisps - I have to tell you off about that LOL as I've got such a craving now.

Tuna sandwiches with prawn cocktail crisps
My literal favourite, and it's even better if the tuna sandwich has slices of cucumber on it. Nomnomnom!Personal Loan: Start: £22020:eek: Now: £18800 :j

zar zar, I am in the middle of eating coronation tuna sandwich sadly without crisps as I've run out of the Teddy crisps I was eating yesterday.
There's something very moreish about prawn crisps - possibly because you can lick off the flavouring as a first course, then eat the crisps as the second.:)0 -
I'll have to make sure I get loads of sandwich supplies over the next few weeks, I need to start taking sandwiches to work every day I'm there!
So yeah prawn cocktail crisps and tuna sandwiches, I also enjoy chicken mayo sandwiches!
Another good one, if you have a toaster and microwave available whilst at work is tinned tomatoes on toast!
Very good for you and quick to make and very filling!Personal Loan: Start: £22020:eek: Now: £18800 :j

Today could well be a NSD ladies...
I'm nervous to put that before I venture out to work at 5pm, but I won't be going to any shops or anything, I need to make sure I eat before I got to work and not visit any shops or McDs on the way home!
Wish me luck
how is everyone else getting on today?

I was definitely a shopaholic. I was depressed and used to think nothing of spending £50 on a slap up lunch out for myself. I'd buy nice perfumes, expensive makeup and toiletries (eg YSL, Creme De La Mer) and buy anything and everything I fancied as well as travelling first class on trains, staying at 4*+ hotels.
I began to cut down when reality hit in the form of me losing my job, then I just realised how much SH1TE I have accumulated which I don't wear/read/use/eat so it's been a case of decluttering and realising there is more to life. I like to save up for fun things and spend quality time doing things at home now so life is totally different.
Being skint is crap though. I have no debts but also no job at the moment, which I am working hard to sort out.
Incidentally, I still stay at nice hotels whenever I travel, but use discount codes, Lastminute.com secret sales, etc to keep costs down.0 -
At least you got hold of the situation before getting into debt
