Rubbish day for me, spend-wise. I went back for the top in Asda, and also bought some other stuff that I didn't need but was too good an offer to resist.

Also mighty p*ssed off that something I bought online totally wasn't what I expected AND had a hole in it. It was only £5, but it still annoys me...

The dress sound lovely - you didn't post the link Yes, I'm pleased with my spending, Saturday is 'danger day' LOL but I've got Mother's Day and a birthday to think about so that should help to steer my mind from the 'desperation' buys.

Completelylost - :) 'too good to resist'
Sorry you had a big disappointment online, are you returning it?

I know, 'too good to resist'... I should write a book and call it that! Story of my life :o
I can't return the item as I bought it on ebay, I'll just have to resell it.

I always used to feel like that but then discovered that longwear foundation applied on your legs works a treat... I buy a bottle of the loreal 16 hour stuff in a nice light golden colour, smooth it on and voila, you are ready to go - even-coloured but pale legs...it masks any odd veins, red follicles, pasty white/blue skin beautifully - no messing about with expensive, fiddly and unpredictable fake tan (which always looks a bit odd when your legs are a different colour to the rest of you) and requires 12 hours of preparation...it's changed my life and attitude to wearing skirts!

thanks so much for that, i will give it a go once i buy the foundation...

Shop reopened today. It's lovely and we were very busy. Could have bought myself loads but stuck to one outfit and got lots of compliments which was lovely!

Another random one. But when you read a magazine, does anybody else read the magazine from the back to the front rather than front to back?
