I made my 16 year old son wear the clothes I am going to ebay :rotfl:
He made me promise no head shots.....
The jumpers looked great, but the shoulders a little broad for the dresses. I'm still killing myself laughing over the pictures now. I wil let you know when they are on. :T

How much did you pay him to wear dresses?

Oh.my.god. The third woman had pretty much said exactly what I've been saying on this thread about getting rid of things. It's honestly not me! :o I am the same when it comes to things with 'memories attached' - it's not like throwing away a plain old top, it's throwing away something more personal. And also all the things in bags... it's just like me.

Thanks for posting that video. I'm going to watch the rest of it now.

& thanks for showing me how to do that NGlady.

  • Okay, just finished watching that. What an eyeopener. And how sad, especially the guy at the end whose mother had just died. Just sitting in all the clutter, alone. No women wanting to know him once they'd seen his house.

I feel sorry for these people. I know some will say they're lazy or disgusting but I think it would be so easy to fall into a rut, especially after any sort of personal tragedy. My house is not that bad when I think about it, but there are some things I can't handle throwing away. I do wonder if it's only a matter of time before the problem escalates and there will be more & more things that I can't part with.

Hi all, it's really nice to sit at the comp and read your posts

Velocity - hope your daughter gets better must have been very unpleasant for her and for you too to see her in pain. Hope nothing bad happened when the micro caught fire. Sounds like you had a good time with the presents etc even though DD hurt herself.

I looked at the link to the Hoarding film, but it wouldn't play. However, I guess it's similar to 'How Clean is your House' in terms of clutter. (there was a horrendous one on yesterday afternoon - never realised that wooden floorboards could get that dirty!).

Morocha - Bet you're having cravings. Sorry about the argument.

Completelylost - I think you've passed your cold to me. LOL The latest Avon catalogue through my door didn't catch my eye either, I think because it was a man's name on it and I didn't fancy ordering underwear etc and have him deliver.

No shopping for me again as I went to my craft club then Iceland and I was in a hurry. This afternoon wrestling with the joints of meat again Although I was getting a 'fabric alert' when I looked over a friends stash at the club.

I wonder how Salesaddict is doing with M&S today.

Good luck everyone with your Big Wardrobe exchanges.

joesaunt: LOL at dressing your son up, hope he's not too traumatised! Can you not tell from the pics that it's a boy wearing the clothes?!

Completelylost You can't tell he is a boy, only in the underwear shots:rotfl: :rotfl:
Not really, there is no underwear:rotfl: fortunately the clothes are from my slightly "plumper" days, so fit him fairly well, also most of them are sloppy type jumpers, so no you can't tell it is a boy modelling them.

Angela, I had to pay him a fiver, but it was worth it, I am still laughing :rotfl:

Just hope they aren't blown up and shown on his wedding day!
