Hi everyone,
How did you get on today?
I stopped in as I offered to cook a massive joint of meat (biggest I've ever seen) for ex's family as they are unable to manage through infirmity. However, it turned out to be too big for the pan I borrowed from them so decided it's going to be done in stages over the next few days..
I don't know about the rest of you but I'm always offering to do things for people then discovering that it's a lot more complicated than expected or something goes wrong. Last week I was doing their washing and that became a fiasco LOL
Still messing around in the kitchen made me completely forget about shopping!
Anyone watch Loose Women today? There was a conversation about make up along the lines we've had on here.
Yeah, I saw Loose Women.. I was sat thinking 'I wonder if one of them has been reading the shopaholic thread on MSE' :rotfl:Probably not but you never know who's watching.I've just found a bag of clothes that I thought had gone to the Charity shop in the Sky when I moved last May...
Ooo just to let everybody know if you dont already, Ebay are doing free listings this thursday and Friday
The charity shop in the sky? LOL.
Yeah I got an email through about the free listing days - shame I've got rid of a lot of stuff just recently, listed most of it at 99p  I wish I'd waited now but I still have some (better) stuff that I am going to bite the bullet and get rid of.
Just wondering if anyone else is havign trouble accessing big wardrobe? It's impossibly slow for meI've got three unread messages and want to see what they're about!

Yep I am having that trouble with big wardrobe. I wondered if it was just my browser lol.
Least 99p listings are free anyway, but theres some items, that I don't mind listing but I deffinatly want more than 99p bids for so im glad i've held out a little for my shoesLearning to be 'good with money'0 -
Ahh right, thanks for letting me know - I thought it was my internet being rubbish and slow like usual.
Hmm, I have (maybe) three pairs of shoes that I am going to part with this time around. I am going to list them for a decent price so if they sell, I won't be disappointed to see the back of them.0 -
Yep - Plus I officially have no room left in the vortex which is our garage so have to have a big tidy out :S got a bit addicted on the grab it forum, when they had those jeans for £1 ended up buying 18 pairs... and littlewoods messed my order up and sent arrangement of sizes and lengths :SLearning to be 'good with money'0

18 pairs  what did you intend to do with them all?
Oh well at least if you sell them at a few £s per pair you'll still be making your money back.
eta - what length are they, just out of curiosity? they're not the tall ones are they? x0 -

NGlady you must be an advertisers dream - did you send them back when they arrived in the wrong sizes?0 -
I didn';t because i kept 4 pairs and i thought it was a glitch and was scared of getting a bill for the full price of the jeans i kept lol. Was relatively happy as ive lived in these jeans since so works out at 4.50 per pair
I intended to wear them lol. I occasionally do agency work which requires jeans, and normally they get ripped etc.
Hrmm I think ive got 29 inch and 31inch leg but they are quite long
Well the shoes I brought as a bargain interview shoe has arrived, and to be honest one of them looks like they have been mauled by a dog. Discusting, will be returned. Bad thing is, I cant now buy again as they dont have 20% discount on now and theyve sold out argh lol. Shall go into store and be a little shirty and hopefully get someLearning to be 'good with money'0 -

That's a shame about the interview shoes... maybe someone else had them before you and returned themHey well, maybe it's a blessing in disguise anyway?
As for the jeans, that's fair enough - good deal if you wear them. But as for the other 14 pairs... lol.
Bigwardrobe is alive again, whoop-dee-doo. I'm going to upload some stuff.0 -
Mauled by a dog? LOL Makes me wonder why they bothered sending them. That's a shame as I know you were looking forward to them.0

Yeah it looks like either a person with really sharp nails have been taking bits out or theyve been chewed by pupster :S And i dont have a pupster :S
Ah well 6.50 into the shopping budget purse again i guess!
I know 14 pairs of jeans haha. but i got a girlie msging me about a pair on bigwardrobe now, so, if i manage to secure some decent stuff out of them, they could be an investment lol.
My friend is coming round in a couple of weeks with her dummy and shes going to gut my wardrobe... and ebay it :OLearning to be 'good with money'0
