I do know what you mean about the photos looking just like someone whereas not all of them do.

I particularly didn't want a photo of MM because I had already formulated an image before he mentioned photos then discovered I was way off after we exchanged details about appearance. So I decided not to have a photo and wait until we met.

I know what you mean by writing is easier as you can say exactly what you mean but as a very chatty person I find the reverse is true as well.

If MM is quiet yet says that he really likes me, I will wonder if that is true although he says that I will know just by the way he acts.

I've just tried to do a bit of the financial updates, looked back over my diary to work out when I'd been out gallivanting to the pub since August.

Just had a call from ex. This was a bit stranger than I expected. He's known about MM for ages, and also that I told DS about Mm as there are a number of similarities between them. He was also very supportive in the past when I said the problems my parents had with online friends. He even asked me last week how long MM was staying for.

So tonight when he phoned and I mentioned MM might be staying over, he sounded concerned and thought it was odd I would spend so much time with someone on a first visit.

So either he's jealous or else it's the fact that he doesn't have those 'on the same wavelength' experiences with anyone and can't relate.

However when ex and I met, it was under very unusual circumstances and our first week together was surreal. We only talked about it at the weekend.

I didn't tell anyone that Bym was coming to stay over on the first occasion because I guessed that no one else would understand.

Apart from you girls, only one person knew that he was coming over on Monday (and I only told him so that he didn't just turn up at the wrong time)

For me it was that 'same wavelength' feeling, and it turns out that my instincts were right.

By the way, I'm on page 177 on my book, just taking a little break.

I guess you told the infamous ex housemate so he didn't turn up

Years ago when the children were small I had a best mate that was a man and his wife, also a very good friend. I used to spend most of the day with them either alone or seperate and we'd also be chatting on the phone. Seems unbelievable we never ran out of conversation. Ex was never bothered I spent so much time with the man however he did get annoyed when his wife came over very early in the morning.

I do miss that type of companionship a lot although it did come with a price that's why I finally decided it was enough.

Apart from this thread, I've got a forum in America wanting updates about tomorrow and I got an email from another online friend that wished me luck, I was surprised she remembered the date.

I just told MM that we had better have a good time after all this interest!

I've only got one thing left to do this evening.

I had to ring ex again re a strange call with DS on skype. I was just thinking about the olden days, I'd have to use telegrams to do all this.

I have just now finished the book, all 250 pages.

It was a novel but based on a real life encounter in 1917 between W H R Rivers, an army psychologist and Siegfried Sassoon.

I've read that one long ago. Think it was good.

I thought I only had one thing to do........famous last words, completely overlooked some, leaving them until tomorrow now. And really struggling to change my bedding - kept putting on the wrong sized sheets and for some weird reason can't change the duvet cover, feel like giving up my hands hurt from doing it. Not sure what's happening.

Try to get some sleep. What time is he due? Will you have time to do all you need to do tomorrow?

I have done most of my tasks listed for today - all that is left on my list is to read a newsletter, read Monday's paper and sweep the floor - that can wait as it is already tomorrow (hope that makes sense)

Thought I might have time to work on my finances but maybe not now!

It's too late to text, and it's for the wrong reason anyway. I'll wait until I have something to tell him, instead of just wanting to send any old message in the hope that he will reply.

Why do I have to feel like this?
