    Hi all

I could have gone out in the evenings too, DS asked twice this week about 5 mins before he was leaving, some unusual events he found at the last moment in the city, I was exhausted both times and couldn't have got ready that fast.

Fr, glad you weren't anywhere near that branch when it fell. Is the microwave working ok?

Pity you've not manage to go out. I have had a break from going out in the evenings - just felt a need to rest this week. I guess it's a delayed reaction from the holiday.

Re the branch. Fortunately the council came and cut it up quickly and left it in the grounds to be collected today. I've not been out so don't know if it has gone. I guess we need to be looking at the rest of the tree/tress now. We could easily have been sued by anyone if there had been damage and injury is too awful to contemplate

And the microwave is working well. But it has been so long that I had to get the instruction book out again!

  • Hi all,

It has been "splurge central" in my world for the last few days... oh dear indeed.
I have spent soooo much, but have just returned loads of it via post to get it away from me.

I did get some lovely biker boots from Topshop which I am keeping, but the other stuff (mainly shoes and tops) I DO NOT NEED. I also bought another coat, but I have my one I bought a while ago (which can't be returned as it's way past the date ). And also some tops, which again, I DON'T NEED, but they are from Select who won't give cash refunds, just an exchange. Arghhhhhh.

The other day I had a total panic attack as all the stuff I'd bought was in my room and I couldn't decide what to do with it or what I should wear, and felt like everything looked hideous on me. My poor mum couldn't understand what was wrong with me! :S

//boring clothes-related stuff ends here. Just needed to get that out of my system!

    =============
Oh how the weather has changed - it's cold and damp and pretty darn miserable here. Xfactor and BB tonight, but apart from that, I'm doing bug all.

NG: Glad to hear you're having a good sort out. Even if you don't sell them, you'll feel 100x better when the stuff is gone. I feel like I just get to a point where I'm cleared out and I end up buying a whole load more unwanted stuff :S Not good!!!

Welcome back morocha, too. Good to hear the news about trying for another baby :D You must be super excited. I feel jealous when I see pregnant ladies, as it feels like it'll be sooooo far off for me!

    Hi all

CL sounds like you're in clothes angst.

So am I. Today I tried on loads of jeans and a skirt. Nothing fit - all too big.

Do you also dislike the coats on you or is it just the tops?
  • Yes, clothes angst is a perfect way to describe it! I guess it's probably no consolation, but at least your clothes weren't too small?!

I'm undecided on pretty much everything that I bought.

(the green one looks much nicer and more fitted on ME than it does on the model :S)

Just watching XFactor... it all feels so old-fashioned, I'm not keen one anyone this year!

    Hi Guys
Weather indeed sucks but at least we're warm and cozy indoors.
As for the clothes angst- i can totally identify- i hate all my clothes, i look awful in all of them and i need a personal dresser and shopper (for free obviously as i am broke)
I also am so broke it's not even funny. Looks like this last month has reallt bankrupted me- despite an improved accounting process- i have gone totally mental and i'm not sure where even.
@CL- i like the republic one- more interesting that the peacoat.
@Anglea- I feel much better in myself thanks- i have a lot of anxiety though, for work stuff that's not improving, finding new lodgings, and just an uneasiness of being. very funny peculiar!

I really want to go out for a night on the tiles but no-one available to go with.
I would alos LOVE LOVE LOVE someone for cuddle right now- just need some TLC!

As for X-factor- not a single one except for the one who replaced Goldie impresses me! Another reason why i don't watch ituntil the dross has been sifted out.

    Hi morocha

Yes, I have been here less time than everyone else - pleased to meet you too. :j

I take the thread off track from time to time with tales of 3 guys

    a) Beau, who I met in Turkey in May and have spent 2 holidays with but who I have decided was trying to turn me into a Turkish wife when I just wanted fun.

    b) The Muse, who I met in 2010 via a dating site. He is absolutely gorgeous and is a great inspiration for my poetry (hence the name) but our actual contact has been limited, to say the least.

    c) Bym (beautiful young man) We met before the summer. Just the once. For some reason, whenever I am out of the country, Bym is here and vice versa. Currently due back the end of next week and I am hoping we will meet up soon after that. He also writes beautiful verse.

I just love coats and jackets, though I must have loads that I hardly wear. I've kept some for when I lose weight! I remember one which was the smaller of the two I had tried on - how I regret that now! But one day I hope it fits

Of the two you have shown links for, I like the republic one best

Hi Morocha- hee hee nope- not married and don't know any chiropodists:p
I'm single and have no luck with the boys, though right now i am desperate for some fun with one!:o

And on the topic of coats and jackets i'm on the lookout for a cord blazer if any of you see one in your travels (size 18ish).
