Hi all
How much have you spent (returned) this week? :rotfl:
For my crisps substitute, I've gone onto Force cereal (first time I've come across it) instead of corn flakes, it's thin wholewheat flakes which taste more savoury than the corn so didn't need mustard (which has made me ill this week). Used them today with tuna with mayonnaise sarnies and tasted ok.
I solved a mystery allergy I'd had all week - pains in arms, hands, shoulders, back of the neck, eye, headache. The last time I had all those together it was a food allergy. It was bad early in the week, then seemed to die down, then flared up with a vengeance on Friday afternoon when I ended up with red patches as well as pain. I was trying to think back to what I'd done and suddenly remembered that I'd used wet wipes. I used them earlier this week after tinting my hair and had them on my face, neck, arms etc. On Friday I used them again.
I don't remember buying anything this week and today I didn't go out because I decided on an Ainsley recipe for breakfast (scones done on a griddle) and it went wrong, and the whole kitchen looked like a war zone - I ended up having to cook the mixture in a cake tin in the oven, so couldn't face going out and returning to it. Instead I mowed the lawn.
Yesterday I did some errands re my financial form which I finally started.0 -
Hi Frog - welcome back from your holiday, looking forward to hearing some of your stories soon! Has BYM been in touch?
Anglea - it was such a relief knowing my mum was in the best possible hands she could have been, its going to be a very long road with slow babysteps which will go backwards at times aswell as forwards but its for the best for her inthe long run.
I was bored last night and i some how managed to put 3 dorothy perkins orders in and a newlook order. So I darent even think about how much ive spent - im not going to be keeping all of it though, as i had to buy two sizes. Did this as otherwise id get the wrong size and have to re-buy after the promo! I darent even think how much ive spent, im certainly hopeing not to fall in love with everything lol. If I did - itd be £150!!! so just imagin what ive spent in the short term. ouch.0 -

You cannot write anything like that Frogletina without some explanations. So I take it that you really enjoyed yourself which was the point of the holiday. England will be very dull in comparison.
NGlady, how long is your mum going to be in hospital?
I had to smile when I read your comment 'somehow I managed to put in 3 orders' - 'somehow' ?????0 -
Hi Anglea,
Yeah it was purely accidently - I was innocently browsing through the website and the website kept taking me to the shopping basket on the web page and there was this magnetic force which pulled my bank card out of my purse and made me tap the numbers into my computer. I didnt want this to happen in the slightest.
Frog...
X rated - sounds like you had fun lol.
Not read anything from CL for a while, hope shes ok0 -
Hi all
Long time no post
Been busy
Moved cities and moved jobs and planning to change uni course.
Hoping to sell loads of clothes etc on eBay ASAP to make some space and also because I have won a trip to NYC and need money still to pay for insurance, food, transfers, excursions, etc.0 -
WOW FE.
That's brilliant news. :j0 -
HI FE!!
WOWZA somebodies been busy - are you going to still do a similar or related course?
Lovely to hear from ya again - make sure you pop back soon0 -
I don't know yet NG, because I love the sort of arts sector but the government cuts are literally killing it all off so I don't want to end up in £30K odd of debt with nothing to show because I'll end up on the dole or working for a high street retailer for minimum wage anyway IYSWIM. May take an entirely different direction.
PS I wanted to add people from this thread to my Facebook; PM me your names/links if you want to be added and I'll add you (I don't know your surname NG and I don't know everyone's names here but there's a lot of fab people).
Hope everyone's ok...will try and keep up but so busy with things at the moment...0
