I think it was Star by Julien McDonald, but I've just checked the web site and it's not on there (though there's another studded purse on there, but it's not that one) - think it must be new stock as I haven't seen it before today (and I am in there often enough to notice these things :S).

edit - actually, it might've been Jasper Conran, I'm not sure.

I keep thinking about it... would I rather have the coat or the purse? Decisions, decisions. Actually come to think of it, do I really need either of them???

A coat is always needed - its cold in England, therefore a coat is a wise investment. So keep it.
Purse wise - I would say .... dont buy any crap for 2 weeks and save your chocolate/drinks at work money? :D

    Ok clutch bag wise.
This may not include them all, as I am postive i have a few more scattered around my friends houses lol

    Total evening bag = 21
Out of this they meet the following criteria (a single bag may fit two criterias) lol
Has been used in the last six months
    7
    Never used/cant remember ever using
    5
Not used in the last six months
    6
    Black in colour
    8
Too tiny to put everything in.
    5

Back to trying to fit them into their draws now lol.

  • Wow, that's a lot of clutches. I guess you'll always have one to match your outfit! Black clutches never come in wrong, though I do wonder how you managed to find 8 black ones that all look different?
LOL... by the way, the whole point of this exercise is to put yourself off buying, not convince yourself that you need more :rotfl:

I will think about the purse... Sleep on it and see if the 'want' factor is the same in a few days time (hope they don't sell it though as there was only one left :o).

I have learnt a lot from this thread though, picked some helpful tips up :)
And the stock check thing has believe it or not shocked me how much i actually own :O I think im a bit OCD about things like my handbags, if a colour is missing or something I get really occupied on trying to solve the problem lol.

  • Sorry haven't been around much. My thing is jeans. I have 37 pairs at the moment. They are all from River Island. Basically if they have a pair in my size, I'll buy them. The problem is there are so many cuts - hipster bootcut, sexy bootleg, slouch, boyfriend, straight leg, skinny. The list goes on and on.

The problem then with these jeans is they all require different footwear. For example sexy bootleg must have high heels, slouch must have something flat and skinny must be worn with uggs. I bought the Uggs first and went looking for skinny jeans. I collected a few pairs and then bought other uggs. Now have 3 pair of uggs and would like others.

I don't do the handbag thing at all.

Hi thanks so much for this post.
This will really help me as will everybody elses on here.
I will keep re-reading this. You haven't mentioned the lovely bloke on here.
    Have you gone all shy:)?

    Me shy? Never.

The lovely bloke is wonderful and I am madly in love. He is just what I asked Father Christmas for. I have known him all my life, went to school with his sister and used to babysit for him when his daughter was small (He is 10 years older than me) We had a fling about 8 years ago, and split up cos neither of us thought the other wanted a relationship. But we have got back together and I am so happy.

He is debt free, not at all materialistic as I have posted on the other board and my cat likes him! :T
