Hi all, Glad you all had busy weekends. I went to a summer fair in Primrose Hill today, and had the most delicious cupcake.
Have been good on the spending front this week. Think I will follow FE's lead and get de-cluttering this week too. LCx
Save me from spending...

After moving all of my bedroom from where it should be, I have now decided it is FAR to hot to be tidying up LOL.Learning to be 'good with money'0

Hi all
NGlady - the outfit sounds really nice - aren't you good not rushing out and buying it - unless it's something that you need sooner than later at work.
Ex and me and the unusual situation. Our families were really good friends for over 20 years and everyone used to go on holiday together or spending Christmas together as well as meeting up every week, as well as being very friendly with all of ex's relatives.
His parents couldn't take that we split up and to this day (5 years later) his mum thinks we still live together.
NGlady - I agree, tidying a bedroom should be against the law in a hot summer LOL
CL - glad you had a nice time, you deserve it.
Little Chicken - you .lucky thing eating that cupcake. I fancy one.0 -
Hi all
Because of the recent changes to the site, you ought to be aware that anything that is written on here can be added to someone's facebook, twitter etc (buttons at bottom of the page).
I had an incident ages back where I did a Google search on a username I had been using at the time (not on MSE) and found some of my posts had been quoted on sites I'd never visited.
I think that in using forums it's easy to get lulled into a false sense of security if you feel like part of a group on certain threads, it's easy to forget that others are reading- lurkers as well as those who use the new posts facility. And let's not forget all the non-registered members that could be reading.
Hope you don't get too paranoid after that lol.0 -
That is quite scary, Anglea... puts me off posting a little :S Not sure I've given too much away about myself, but still I will be more wary!0
-
Yes I am the same as you completelylost, I have spoken about a lot of private things with you ladies on here, not sure I should post anymore
thankyou for letting me know though Angela

I hope this doesn't mean that the thread dies off.
I think we're fine to post, just be careful what you write

I tried reporting above post, but it never went through.
edit - that's weird it disappeared (spam)
CL - hope the thread doesn't stop either - me and my big mouth!0 -
Well whatever the post was, it seems to have disappeared now.
Anglea don't worry about it, you were just making us more aware. Sometimes I do forget that others can read this. At times this thread has gone so far off topic and maybe too much info has been divulged :S I almost feel bad for salesaddict who started this thread for advice.
I don't think I have ever said what I do, where I live, or anything like that so I'm not worried
Anywaay back on topic! Today was a NSD for me
How have the rest of you done? 0 -
CL - I had a 'must have' craving buy, only a pound in the charity shop but I had to get something before leaving it.
This evening I've had to shut all the windows because the manure is being spread around locally.
Well done on your NSD0
