Tyzer - of course you can still play :) A lot of people on here have same addictions, so a lot of people have an addiction to magazines and crisps aswell as their shopping - Im personally general junk food and magazines lol.

TLB - Good luck with the baby weaning :) Just for future reference, my sister got all hers from Home bargains and they was lovely and cheap :) In regards to the baby photography class, I think its justifyable because money can't bring back memories only with photos :)

Nice to see that this thread is helping you :) At first it didn't help me, got to be honest but I think if you read back through my messages through the thread i've really changed attitude to money thanks to these girlies - so stick around :)
Completelylost - Im the youngest in my family so I never went through the little sis/bro doing that thing lol. Bad luck with the hair dye :( Are you blonde or brunette? I find sometimes.... Lemon Juice really brightens my blonde :) and I think theres one for Brunette too, maybe with Tomato Sauce (that might be for blondes too tho lol) :S yes I know lol. its so painful when it gets into my neck scorisis though lol.

I can't believe how well behaved we are this week CL :O i was expecting us to be both revealing huge spends after the weekend!

Well hope everybody enjoys their four day week :D

Im going to Derby today to return a dress to the Coast concession in Debenhams in Deby as i've decided it gives me a fat bum lol, then going to scoot acoss to Nottingham, as theyve got an Oasis concession in their Debenhams as I will be given a voucher for the dress and I could do with something new for Saturday :) (Argh same as before "could do with something new *slaps her own hand*) anyway budget fo today will be £20 including bus fares and dinner, this will mean an absoloute NSD for Wednesday and a MSD for Thursday. . . If however in Debenhams they give me a cash refund, which they wont, I shall save the money and not buy anything :O (Angela, get up off the floor woman ;) )

    Thus endeth my rambelings :)

Hi, I know NSD is No Spend Day, what is MSD?
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

    Minimal spend day :)
I.e a bus fare would be a minimal spend, but spending £0p is a NSD. Lots of people have different opinions on what a NSD should be classed as, some people especially those with homes etc class essential expenditue differently, so if they spend anything unneccessarily its not a NSD? does that make sence?

    Ok thanks.

I think I would only class a day when I spend absolutely nothing from either purse as a NSD. I know I want to focus mainly on cutting down my unnecessary spending, but I know we will also benefit if I can trim the necessities as well!

Hi all. Haven't checked in since Fri (computer down) and really enjoyed catching up with all the posts. Still using the 2 purse idea (thanks again OP) and it's great having some guilt-free money to spend. Got my refund from M&S so it went straight in. Burning a hole in my pocket at the mo and waiting for my friend to text to see if she wants to go shopping. Will report back later.

I hope your shopping trip goes well & you manage to stick to your budget :)

I have quite dark brown hair that shines red in the light and I dye my hair black every couple of months... Actually, last light it didn't look any different, but today in natural light it looks a bit darker. Just not black  Never mind, it's nothing that another box of dye won't fix!

I have to agree though, we've both been pretty good so far this month. But there seem to be soooooooooo many things I want, and it's taking all of my effort to avoid buying them! :( I'm tryng really hard this month though, as I feel so bad about my March spends.

Today I *have* to go out. I'll walk into town, so save £2.10 busfare. I've got to post parcels, pay in cheques and then return a top that has a hole in it (hope they refund me as I took the tags off, wore it & then noticed the hole). I just have to make sure I don't end up straying into DP/B&M/anywhere else that might result in a spend. The only thing I *need* is some tea.. can't function without it!

    Hi all,
Spent £12 on drinks at a gig (I got in free) on the weekend, but that's my first blowout of the year so totally justifiable.
Other than that, nothing new to report although tomorrow I am going to Miss Selfridge, Topshop and DP to hunt for any bargain (sale price) playsuits or dresses as I have a £15 giftcard.
    So this week:
Wed will be a MSD; I may get a treat at Tesco, otherwise it'll be a NSD.
Thurs and Fri should be NSDs
Saturday I'll be spending a little.
    Sunday should be a NSD.

Wanting a passport so need to save around £70. I can save money on postage by handing the forms in in person as I live near the passport office in Liverpool.

Do it:) Even if it's just for yourself to read back over later.

What perfume did you get? The bag I was talking about is the big plastic one that's free with Marc Jacobs. I don't think the branded paper bags sell for quite so much, probably would sell though.
I got a free gift with purchase bag, a big over the body one. It was free with all perfumes over £20. Do they sell on ebay do you know? Hoping for a NSD today.
