    Hi all

Completelylost - I'm still watching you! And it doesn't help when I read how much you spent the other week -£72  and you tried to fool us by saying it was only £24!!!

NGlady - if you're interested in thinking ahead for birthdays etc I'm on the Christmas and all year organising thread (with santa challenges lol) - that's good fun too.

Anyone wants a look it's one of two that are called Thrifty Grifty - one is for making money to pay for Christmas (money neutral) and the other is all the organising and doing. Look on the Special occasions forum for them.

Aaaah, what a lovely niece you have, to get you that choccie.

TLB - that's a big saving with the hairdresser. Bet you are pleased. Price of shopping - I don't know where you go, but where I live there's a Somerfields, now taken over by co-op and I've notices a massive increase in price for some items.

Not another magazine addict LOL. Do like crisps too?

I've been very well behaved since joining this thread, so hopefully you will be able to rein yourself in as well. NSD on clothes for example.

Angela, I think its a great idea when you need a retail fix to think about what pressies are required in the next couple of months and research those instead :) That way your buying for a reason :)

My nephews stopping the night and has provided me with Chocolate too - just got to hope my other neice is as thoughtful now lol.

I don't think I confirm completely to this norm of the forum. I do enjoy crisps and go through phases of eating a couple of bags a week but i don't think ive had any crisps for about a month now :S

    ^vnms - belated happy birthday :)

Another day of boredom. I didn't do anything else yesterday other than change the beds, wash the sheets & clothes, and... can't remember what else. I tried taking the back off my keyboard to clean it but I couldn't get it off :( Stupid thing.

Today I'm going for another run - wish me luck. The weather is dire but hopefully the rain will be off tonight. I feel a bit grotty at the moment, so the thought of clothes shopping isn't really appealing to me at all. Today will be my 3rd NSD.

How are the rest of you doing? Hope you're having a nice Easter weekend xxx

Im doing ok today :) Recieved lots of yummy easter goodies, why did I mention in passing that I liked Cream eggs though?! I've recieved 20 cream eggs this year in total :O plus some other bits of choc :) whopsie!

Good luck with your run CL!
    Happy belated anniversairy Morocha :)

I hate bank holidays so much. Its a odd feeling cos I get a bus on a sunday once in a blue moon, but because nowhere is open even if i wanted to I couldnt go out anywhere? Theres only so much time me and my parents can spend together before we start consideing the best way to kill each other and not ruin the carpet! lol.

Total spends today. £0.70 on parking - been to Matlock Bath in the peak district, parents treated me to fish and chips so didnt pay that. Did buy some babywhipes though, I use them loads at home and im running out plus I needed some for my greecy chip hands (forgot to take mine with me :( ) so that is a £1 to declare.

In the past though I wouldnt have gone into superdrug and spent a mear £1 though!

    Total spends today £1.70 :D

    Happy belated birthday VNMS!

    Evening,

Well done on your MSD, NGlady :) we don't really bother with easter here... though I used to love creme eggs, but don't eat them anymore :( It's just another excuse to get fat for me, lol.

I've just been for my jog, am knackered but feeling proud of myself. I'm thinking about treating myself to a nice pair of running shoes and an mp3 player this month, instead of spendingof clothes/toiletries this month. Does that sound like a good idea? :o I mean, at least those are things that will motivate me to keep jogging...

How are the rest of you doing? I haven't seen salesaddict post in a while, I hope she's ok.

Yes completelylost I think that would be an ideal thing to treat urself to instead of the bits and bobs :) How about buying doing this over a month and say 2 weeks as of today U can buy the trainers/mp3 then 2 weeks later U can do the same as a reward for good behaviour over the fortnight?

I am having a hard evening tonight - im home alone, and browsing the debenhams website. So having to use every ounze of self control not to buy anything.

The canvas shoes I bought the other week - the pink ones, are down to £6 in the Faith sale. Considering being super cheeky, buying a second pair of pink returning the new pair with the £10 receipt and i can buy another pair for £2 - I am really considering the purchase of some of these canvas shoes anyway as i think theyd be lovely for summer. Shall have to see if im a good girl all week :)

On another note, found the Jonny Cash CD for my Dads birthday £9 which isn't bad but going to make myself have 2 no spend days to cover this :)

Hello Annie, welcome :) Something we tend to ask all our newbies, do you like crisps? Have a love for magazines? as we all tend to have one/both of those addictions here.

    Hello all,

Haven't read all your posts yet but before I do... Didn't have a bad weekend, went to the shops on saturday and was wandering around thinking "this stupid 2 purse idea... just becauase I have money to spend I will not be able to buy anything!" However after getting primark and new look out the way I did find a really nice dress in H&M for only £10, it's quite summerly and I got some knee length leggings to go with it £5 so £15 out of my clothes purse. £15 left. My OH was with me at the till and exclaimed "cash??!! what's that?" which made me laugh as I must spend on my card all the time. Had my weekly cash for going out and other spends and have £2 left (however when I did go out I didn't want to drink because of having a cold, so difficult to praise myself too much for this!) New week new spends now, will save my £2 towards a haircut. I do wish I'd spent money on one thing though, I went over my mum's on sunday and she got me an easter egg and I didn't get her one and she didn't say anything but I think she was disappointed :( Wish I'd got her an egg and not saved the money :(

Anyway going to catch up on your posts now! xx
