Completely lost - at least you have a spreadsheet and can see what is happening. So it could have been £600  How about a NSD for the rest of the month? :)

Went grocery shopping again in the pouring rain. Most shops were shut where I live so no excess although I saw a new gardening mag that looked really nice and the contents were a bit different to normal (People's Friend - new for them) was very tempted but put it off as I'm no longer into gardening as I was before. Then considered buying it for mum but didn't. Still I'm sure for the next few weeks I'll be dithering over it.I noticed there was an offer to subscribe to all their new special mags - crafts cookery etc and I might do it. (Nevermind that I'd got hundred of craft and cookery mags already LOL).

You mean a month of NSDs?! It's not going to happen, unfortunately :o I've got to be realistic.

For some reason I never have the urge to buy magazines, they're just not my thing I suppose. It's interesting to see what we all struggle with, as it seems to vary greatly.

I think ill stick to my Sausage and chips lol.
I thought I was dearing with my foods, I love spicy foods, but I couldn't imagin eating anything like croc - my ex ate Dog when he was traveling in China! Personally I just couldnt!
Isnt social mind sets ODD. Such as in Australia they will eat Kangaroo, but we couldnt imagin it. China, they eat Dog etc. We will happily tuck into a Pig dinner but some cultures don't allow this but I personally dont think twice about beef/chicken etc but couldnt do crocodile. My sisters a vegetarian and wouldnt dream of eating a sausage roll, she had one at her office party once thinking it was a veggie roll and felt guilty for a week - was fun playing up to that lol.
Completelylost you think thats bad, I think mines going to be an awful lot more! I am going to change my account structure, as im only on week three at the moment but itd be easier to do my monthly spending on the calander month one would presume.
Angela, I think you are right. I was in corfu and went to a monestry on the highest point in the island, still managed to buy something?
Sounds terrible what your son did, did you make him clean it up? lol
Well today is a MSD day. I have brought my neice a little extra for easter so £3 as she doesnt have a huge family like the rest of my neices/nephew does. Also need to go post office shortly to post some jeans for Bigwardrobe, they are HEAVY so thats going to cost a little :/ also LCs book.
I have put into a purse every penny I can afford to spend this Bank Holiday and wont go over that - went into Matalan this money, saw a beautiful skirt for summer. But and Angela may need to sit down for this I DIDNT BUY IT :o
Next week I am going to be reallly good with my spending, and hopefully avoid eating out too much and geneally knuckle down for some NSD's. Only thing I could do with is a couple of plain black tops that I brought from Primarni last week @ £2 ea as they are actually fab :D but I wont do that until I really cant give my urge to shop any further probs on thurs or something, but even then as I am going to be good next week la bank card shall stop at casa :)
Souk - enjoy tonight. Be good lol.

I could just eat sausage and chips... but anyway!
Well done for avoiding the skirt. I hope you can reign in your spends a little over the Easter hols. Are your total spends higher than mine or are you just trying to make me feel better? :o:o

I just bought that book In The Red but didn't spend any cash on it; I used some money I'd already built up on Greenmetropolis through selling my own books. So STILL a NSD. :D

Men on this thread - whatever next . Seriously though, I too thought that shopaholic tendencies were confined to us girls but why should they be! I live with such a shopaphobic guy I guess I just (wrongly) assumed all men were as frugal with their cash. :D

I'd say there are lots of male shopaholics, some younger guys like clothes and lots of men are gadget crazy...watch them line up for the new apple ipad, etc. Men used to buy loads of CD's too but maybe not so much now with downloads. I don't think the shopaholic men are found in Debenhams so our paths don't cross much;)

Primark has a lot of lovely things in at the moment... I was impressed last time I went, and usually I'm not! I could have bought loads but only left there with a purse and two vests.

I've just been for a jog, and my god, I feel soooooo dead. Didn't realise how unfit I was until tonight! :(

That Good Friday reference reminds me, yesterday I was sitting in a coffee shop and a guy asked me "what is the name of today's holiday?" I think he might have meant Holy Thursday but I didn't realise that until hours later....I told him it was April Fools Day:o (well it was!)

And now for the reason I was out sitting in coffee shops. The plumber had put me in a really bad mood. He saw the law books on the table and proceeded to tell me all about his daughter who had done law and how most women only study law to find themselves a rich husband (but not his daughter obviously) He also told me how his house is worth is €700,000 or something and various other obnoxious comments, generally talked down to me.

I don't know why he bothered me so much, it's not as if I'll have to meet him again--he fixed the airlocked taps in the bathroom, was only in the house for half an hour but I was in a mood when he left so I went shopping to cheer myself up.

I bought perfume at Debenhams Marc Jacobs Lola because I really wanted the gift with purchase bag. The bag sells on ebay for around £20+ postage so seemed like better value to have the perfume as well. The lovely man at the perfume counter gave me loads of samples too, chatted for ages and restored my faith in men after the plumber incident.

Bought a dress at Primark as well and a file for the law notes.

    Hi girls

Mags - good to see you back. That nasty man -you should have told him you're studying law to specialise in winning damages against shoddy workmen, plumbers in particular :)

Completelylost - did you get wet jogging? Weather's been bad where I live.
