hi nglady, so happy u didnt mind, i dont mind doing the graph chart with you.
i have to say i am controlling myself since i bought the Clinique treatment, everytime i buy something i like.. i go nuts cos now i want the whole make up range etc... I am obssesed like my oh says.
I also trying to save cos i have a CC to pay( i do not like having debts and although the minimun payment is £16 i try my hardest to pay £200 ( i am a sahm) each month, Plus my anniversary coming up on 1 St april ( 4 years married) we celebrate it by going to Spain every year...i want to help out to my MIL and FIL to come with us this time, so i have different cards with money in.. i keep a diary with all my spending day by day.. i am crazy, i can not be nromal... always over the top.

completely lost i am the opposite... i am really scared of trying clothes on shops.. i always hate it.. so i take the clothes home and try them on... and decide... my oh is quite sincere when i ask about clothes

    Completelylost.

I can see that - it happens to me too. I look great in the item in the shop... then, I put it in its bag and "fantasise" about wearing it, what i'll wear it with and even in my head a 3 stone lighter figure wearing it lol. But then I put it on, and look through my own mirror and im like well thats terrible! So much so I regular don't try things on, resulting in wrong sizes or buying two sizes and rtning one.

I love that spred sheet idea - I need to find a way to download excel now, that sounds really efficient, and I bet its quite a motivation if your trying to save up for something etc?

Yes when I was saving up for my hol money last year, I had a different bank account which I transfered bits of wages etc too. I was thinking about it last night, at one point I was 19 earning 350 a week due to commision and i didnt save a penny looking back I should have saved the 150 commision each week over the space of the year I had that for. But hey in hindsight huh :S

Angela, Being in the butchers doesn't really bother me. But, when im eating and the meat is slightly pink or a off colour or whatever, I always get very worried. Always although I abso adore indian food, very concerned about chicken in sauces that I cant see the meat itself.

Its good to find something your a bit obsessive about and want to collect the money for such as your Clinique stuff helps instead of buying the bits and bobs to put the money into something worth while :)

    Lifes a long lesson . . .

Happy mothers day to all :)

  • http://www.spendingdiary.com/ I am now using this site to record my spends. Felt fed up yesterday and was about to hit the shops, but decided to visit a friend instead. Had a good chat and felt much better.

Helloo ladies (I'm assuming we've got no blokeys?), sorry I've not been posting frequently, the other half has been down (he lives about 65 miles away) all weekend so I've been spending quality time.
The spends have been fair to middling, Saturday spent a little on tea (evening meal) for me and the boyfriend, just a spare change amount though which he contributed to.
    Today, spent £2 on lunch.

I've started the epic sort-out, just, will do a bit more later after I've taken the boyfriend back to the train station :)
Have so far packed all of my books and a couple of CDs, I've only got two boxes so far, so I'm going to keep going until I fill them up and then start on the wardrobe sort.
Basically anything I don't want, put into a 'chuck' or 'sell' pile, leaving only the things I want to keep at the new house in my wardrobe until I get more boxes.

Also, just wondering could anyone post up the name of that eBay for clothes type website, wardrobe something or other was it?

    Bigwardrobe zar :)

Right then ladies - advise please! Thinking I loved my new jacket, I ripped the tags off earlier and walked to the shop only wearing for about 20 minutes, so the sort of time some would wear to try on. However I have decided the colour doesn't really do anything for me, saw my sister on the way to the shop and she gave me a polite "it looks nice" when asked, but i don't think it suits me :(
Considering it cost £20 - would U girlies be cheeky, take back to the shop and say oh i thought it'd fit took tags off and realized it doesnt, only tried on for a few minutes (taking tags with me) or would you just take the loss :S argh lol.

    Spends today.
I have just been to the shop and brought a news paper (tv magazine inside) for my mum and some bits and bobs for a proper english breckie for my mum and dad tomorrow :) So that was a £5 expenditure :)

So £5 going into the £40 needed to recover pot

NG, They'll probably take it back if you take it back with the tags, so I'd do that if I was you!

And thank you for the website :)

Yeah thats what I was thinking, shops like Oasis do tend to have a little more customer support than primark etc which is one of the reasons I like to shop there :)

Well my last night alone :D Think I shall have a big tidy up now :( lol.
