Mark Hill Hair sets bargain

Thanks OP. I saw this thread yesterday morning, and took a chance on ordering some. Ordered yesterday lunchtime, paid direct to Ebuyer, and the UPS man turned up at 9am this morning. This was with me opting for the cheaper Super Saver delivery as well :j

I ordered the following 3 sets:

1 x Ultimate Shine
1 x Colour Care
1 x Beautiful Blonde.

The blonde collection was the best collection as it had a full sized shampoo and conditioner plus 4 other bottles. The Ultimate Shine and Colour Care both had 2 full size conditioners and no full size shampoo. However, they both did have travel size shampoos and conditioners which will be perfect for holiday.

All in all, a very good deal, so despite the lack of shampoo, I'm a happy poster

i bought 4 sets of ultimate shine and all of them included:
2 large shampoo
1 shine spray
2 small bottles of shampoo
1 small conditioner
so i fired off a email letting them know how upset at the amount of conditioner i have compared to shampoo, the review on their website, pictures, what others recieved etc.... got my reply today

The reason you have received the small bottles of shampoo is because we are
currently out of the big bottles. So we have been sending two small bottles
as a replacement. I apologise for any confusion and inconvenience.

Also, we do not sell our products by the reviews customer's leave. They are
sold strictly by the product description that we put on our website.

Once again, I apologise for any inconvenience or annoyance caused.

If you should require anything further, please feel free to contact me.

can not believe they are trying to fob me off!, 2 small bottles to replace a big one?, from what i see 1 small shampoo goes with the small conditioner as a mini set?

i'm not good with letters so any advise on what should i reply with?

I ordered blonde set and shine set got them today although a few items were damaged and completely empty!!

Blonde set i got:

1 large shampoo
1 large conditioner
2 x ultimate gloss mist (Both cracked open and poured everywhere)
1 x straightening balm
1 x shine and control spray

Shine set:

2 x shine conditioners large (No shampoo )
2 x small shampoos
1 x small conditioner
1 x ultimate gloss mist

Overall i am pleased with the products just wish i got more shampoo

Have used the blonde shampoo and conditioner and hardly used any and was amazing!! Also when phoned to say the mist had burst everywhere was told i would get 2 new boxes sent in post with everything again not bad!!

The inconsistencies are incredible!
You received exactly the same as my friend, yet today, after I complained on her behalf, they sent her out another 4 full sets! Granted, no big shampoos as promised but the customer service received was second to none.

Just want to say thanks to OP, I ordered 3 sets and all came with at least 2 big shampoos/conditioners. I ordered on Wednesday, paid by Credit Card and chose supersaver deilvery but came by Parcel force the very next day, no leakages and very well packaged, well pleased!!!

Was just about to email and mention that I didn't get any large shampoos but noticed this on the description of the items
"*Please Note: Each gift set will contain a random assortment of 6 Mark Hill Gorgeous hair care range products."
Surely that it their get out clause for all our arguments, or has this only just been added?

asumming you called up instead of using their enote system? i will wait until noon for a reply otherwise i think i'm going to get more luck by giving them a call.

they think that replacing a big shampoo bottle with a small one is acceptable? :eek:
i only want some shampoo! what am i gonna do with all the conditioner?!, just conditioner doesn't make a great gift does it?! it's like giving someone one glove and then one sock to make up for the other!

That is a new addition to their website (probably following all the complaints).
Someone previously said they had a screen shot of the page so I would still send the email on the basis that when you bought it, that informtaion was not there

Yes, I called up. I would never trust an enote system, too easy to ignore/palm off.
