well day 12 is over. like yesterday i've been run off my feet. i went to the gym at 9am  never again, thought i was going to die! came home and had brekkie then did some work in the house. it usually gets in a bit of an untidy state through the week then my day off is spent fixing it. so it got al tidied and i did two loads of washing (one being last weeks dirty bedding) and hung away the clean stuff i did at the weekend. got a wee pile of ironing which i'll do before work tomorrow if i can get out of bed. at worst i HAVE to do one work shirt!
i made a lasagne and a pot of chicken noodle soup. the latter looks like a soggy stir fry so it might be the first and last time i do that! there are now 12 meals in the freezer (four soupd left from last week) and two in the fridge for this weekend. i've done my meal plan for next week and i'll do that shopping on monday.
i had to go into town in the afternoon. i took back the optics santa bought me (they don't fit any alcohol bottle and so it leaks  what a waste of precious liquids!) so got £15 of gift vouchers back. thats not bad, my sis bought three sets on 3 for 2 at £15 each. we're taking them back sans receipt and getting £15 of vouchers for each setcheeky wee blighters that we are!
went into boots too and picked up a few bits, none that i needed as such, but used my hair care voucher and picked up a couple of healthy snacks i had vouchers for too. then new lip liner and gloss that i didn't NEED but did WANT but i got a free concealer that i'll need shortly so it's cool.
bad moment...i went into oasis. my beautiful dress that cost me an african countries national wealth...£20 in the sale now. as much as i'm gutted if i hadn't bought it when i did i'd never have been able to wear it at the xmas night out and i'd never have been wearing it when i met david and i'd never have had lady in red sung to me. le sigh. i downloaded chris de burghs entire discography cause it was the only place i could find that song. it's been on repeat all day and will be the first song on my ipod when i receive it. i sat and bubbled through the first play, it brought back such happy feel good memories and thoughts. hearing it again was the first time i could properly picture davids face since then. that sounds so bad  i'm honeslty not a psycho but that night (before i met david even) was the best of my life. ive never been so happy in myself as i was that night. i dunno when i'll feel like that again.
anyways i'm off to bed. i promise (cause i know some of you will worry) i'm not down or unhappy at all. i'm just wishing that feeling could have lasted forever. it's a night i'll never ever forget. or at least i pray i don't.

well day 16. can't believe its halfway through january already!
today i applied for my remortgage, i think i'm getting a good deal, payments will be about what i'm gonna pay on the svr that i've just gone onto over xmas. i'll get an extra £5k to put in central heating which will be a huge bonus. the deal i'm getting has no set up fees, they pay your valuation and you get £400 cashback towards solicitor fees. i'm also getting quotes for my life an critical illness cover to try an reduce those.
so far it's been a no spend day too and i'm hoping that if i take fruit to college this evening it'll stay that way! first in a while i think.
i've just synced up my ipod :j i'm sooooo happy i bought this. it's the limited edition red one (i got it with my bday and xmas money) and it's sooooo cool! :rotfl: i'm listening to it in the house now just because i can, what a tube! it's nearly full already but there was some fairly crap stuff on here that i don't really want on it so i'll make up a few playlists and get it finely tuned when i have more time, for now it's paulo nutini crooning in my ear so i'm very very0 -
little update...
i sent the xmas guy, david, a text yesterday despite the advice of a friend...i told him i was thinkin about him and asked when i could see him again...i got a few replies tonight, the gist is he's coming to aberdeen this weekend :j ANd best of all in my book, he's been thinkin about me tooam sooo excited, it's almost scary. fingers crossed this guy is as nice and genuine as he appears.

well today is day 19. it seems like i've been doing this forever and yet it's only 19 days!?!?!
anyway it's a good day. i've had a nsd which is a good thing, am thinking i wanna try for a no spend weekend, but we'll see if that happens. i dunno what the plans will be so
healthy wise, well i only had one snickers bar so it's positively fantastic  haha, nah it's not been the best week, but i'd also decline from saying i've fallen off the health wagon. just a little dip in the road.
life wise, well my house is mostly clean, my friends are mostly not here, but my man is coming to see me in about 2 hours and i am so over the moon. i have butterflies already. it's so crazy! but very very good. i'll let you all kow how i get on (minus any gory details of course!)
hope you all have a fabulous weekend, i dunno if i'll be online or not, but i'm sure i'll have a great one.
hugz all round

well it's day 21 and i guess it's safe to say i fell off the wagon within three weeks, but i'm not letting it beat me, we all have wibbles i'm just gonna start over again!
so today i, erm, got my sky and tv licence back  yeah ok so not very dfw that one, but i payed for the licence in a one on my cc, will pay it off when the bill comes in, and i get the sky points. i've enough points so far for £15 off my bill, will take it £5 a month meaning i'm only £13 a month for my sky. am sat watching the simpsons just now and i did miss it, tho i'm very proud i did 5 months without a tv. however in one hour and 7 minutes (give or take) the new series of 24 starts and i'm soooooo very excited. got a tub of pringles (half price) tonight to scoff while enjoying not one, but TWO hours of jack :j
on the actual dfw side of things i did some wise shopping in sainsbury today which means i have lots of chicken in the freezer which is also good for my diet, i'm needing the protein! gonna get my meal plan sorted for this week before jack starts, should be a cheap week as i've got lots in the house fromt he batch cooking i've done in recent weeks.
in other news, i had a lovely time with david this weekend, i think i've actually met a nice guyhe was round on friday night after his gig finished, then i met him and his singing pals for lunch yesterday, we had a really good laugh and i heard them saying how great they thought i was! so i've won over his friends which is good. last night didn't quite go to plan, fell out with my friend and ended up going home in tears. i'd been hoping to meet up with david again but was in bed by the time i got his message, he's away home today so i dunno when i'll see him again which has left me in a bit of a
mood, but it's his bday next month and i'm on hols from work then so i'm gonna try and go to his for a weekend
oh and i also discovered he's on payg which is why sometimes i don't hear from him. looks like he might be a dfw too! :rotfl: (dear god i hope he never reads this diary  )
well i have a peperoni pizza in the freezer and i kept a wee chicken breast aside to chop up, spice up and throw on top! oooh check me with my healthy dinner0 -
Hi LJ - just a quickie before I head off the board but wanted to say I am glad you saw David and had a nice time (even though you missed seeing him before he left
).
Give your friend a call.....you can make it up with her. She'll really appreciate your call. Well that's if you haven't done it already of course.
Take care!

argh, typed out a reply and it didn't post argh!!!!
i will speak to mel soon, our problem is that she is a totally different person when she's drunk and i don't like her that way. last night she met some randoms and !!!!!!ed off with them leaving me on my own as it was just us two out. hence my going home. got a message an HOUR later to ask where i was. but i will talk to her once i stop being so mad. i'll just not ever go out with her again.0 -
well day 23 today and it's been a goodun!
i had a nsd for the first time in what feels like ages, felt really weird and i almost felt like i had to buy something! glad i left my wallet in the flat for college after all!
money wise i also closed one of my current accounts. it was the rbs one i opened to get the £100 (which went towards my first od, now paid off) and was a parachute account incase bos closed my account during the bank charges thing. until today i had four current accounts, it was taking the mick really, but now i'm down to three, would have closed another but i didn't think to take my cheque book with me. i've got the surveyor in tomorrow morning before work and depending on what time he makes it i'll close it tomorrow, if not it'll be thursday. when i finally get my finger out and sort out my od with a&l i can close the third and i'll be a very happy bunny!
the first of three creidt card i currently hold will be cleared in feb once the 0% runs out (thought i'd build up the interest in my savings account first). the third, newest one is interest free for six months so i'll be building up my savings to pay that off then. the second is a skycard which gets me sky points to get money off my sky bill so i'm using that as a cashback card at the moment. technically not a debt as the money is in my savings...or at least thats my story!
life wise, mah it's been one of those days. didn't go to the gym, i've kinda lost the ooomph for it, need to find my inspiration again, but its' so hard sometimes. i'll try on thursday. my diet has been ok tho, one of the girls at the gym has asked me to be her study for part of her training so i have to keep a food diary for the next two weeks for her. the good news is she also took my weight and fat % today and i've lost just over pound in the past couple of weeks and just over 1% body fat, i've also build up some muscle. it's not a huge amount but it's in the right direction.
well i'm off to shortly, gotta get up at 8am if i'm to be showered and dressed for the surveyor. got myself a wee list of things building to do for the two hours i might be sat around for.
catch up with you later
