well day 8 has gone well (would you believe i actually have a chalkboard in my kitchen which now counts down the days???).

did a fairly big shop in asda today and it only came to £14.46 which i'm really happy with. there is a lot of fruit and veg in there (why is it soooo expensive?) and i just finished a lovely wholemeal muffin with all sorts of seeds/nuts and fruit in it...think i might go grab it's mate too ;) got chicken in there too and i think actually everything is good for me! :A

i think i've come up with a cunning plan to attract the halloween iron man to ask me out, or at least to let him know i want him to ask me out...and it involves you guys (well martin and his bank charges)...i'll let you know how it goes, he'll either laugh and not bother or ask me out and we'll fall madly in love, get married and have lots of sex and babies :j

i hope noone i actually know ever reads this! :rotfl:

    hey guys.

the past couple of days have been good, been in the gym yesterday and today again. i'm pleased to say i missed the worst of the bug thats been flooring everyone up here, i got a little croaky and sniffly but was basically fine. phew!

financially i've been good too, yesterday i only spent 89p on a hot choc and 45p on a bag of crisps at college. today 80p on a snickers and crisps at work. so erm the healthy snack thing isn't going so well tho! but food in general has been excellent. i had a salad for lunch today (prob why i needed the junk after!)

the iron man has not replied but has been chatty at work still, just never been in an alone situation where he might ask me out, however i heard something today which means i'm not so interested in him. BUT (my love life is soooo jerry springer!) the guy from xmas text today, totally out of the blue and apologising for not being very good at getting in touch :D and since i liked him better anyway he is now my number 1 again :rotfl:

things at home seem to have settled too. my sd came back but my sis is still unhappy (having probs at work too now). not a lot i can do so i'll just listen to the problems and try my bestest (and lend her money as required  )

    Hey Lyns

Good to see the past couple of days have been good to you and you have remained healthy and well!

Clearly this is the thread to come in for gossip! :T You seem to have a choice of men right now which is always a nice option! I do hope the lots of sex and babies future is not too far away!

I have my hat ready in any occasion! :)

Keep up the good work with the food shopping and gym and hopefully the junk food will not be needed.

hi guys, glad to see you kept the laughs going in my absense! :rotfl:

moozie, this is defo the diary for men related gossip. i'm absolutely loving my role as flirt par excellence these days. i was defo the ugly duckling in school and am making up for it! my friends all know that when we're catching up there will be several men stories involved :rotfl:

well i'm just back from the gym (and on my day off too) my abs and legs are aching :j stopping long enough for a cuppa and a bagel with light philly and a tomato on top :D keeping the good diet going. nipping up to the docs to collect my prescription then sports world for a new pair of trainers then possibly a coupld of new sports tops (defo a need or i'll get two black eyes!) i'm starting to do some running again, even told marie she might be able to get me to her running club one night

got dinner with an ex friend tonight so not sure when i'll be back online but will defo be back to report daily spends...even if i don't get back on your thread moozie, i always feel bad not reading about everyone else but i just don't have the time these days :(

I really can't imagine you being an ugly duckling - I mean look at you! All I know is that life is for living and well done you for going for it! I have to say for a long time settled woman, this is a great read although I know it's not always the ending you'd like!

I think I got tired reading all this so I went for the crisps and biscuits as a comfort :( I couldn't diet to save my life sadly. It's a good think us cows like to be round :rotfl:

Hope you get some bargains, I'll look for the update on the 'how...much' ;)

I know it's nice to read everyone else's spend's and targets but when you have no time, there is not much you can do, don't worry. Just make sure you update your spends as I know that helps to keep things in check.

Keep up the good work and hope you are around next time we take over your thread :rotfl:

moozie, you and minnie (and a couple of select others) are welcome to take over my thread anytime. my diary (like my home) is open to all my friends at all times. just don't leave a mess behind you :D

oh trust me, i was the fat unpopular kid at school. i had my first bf at 18! the photo you see is me three stone lighter and a bit more clothing/make up/hair savvy than i was then. i'm also incredibly happier in myself than i was then. now is the time i've turned into a swan.

oddly enough at least one of my other 'coupled up' friends loves living vicariously through me. she adores the tales of the men i let in and out of my life. i'm apparently her only single friend. it's scary that i'm 25 and so many of my friends are settled down. although i want a bf and i want the big white wedding and babies, i don't want them NOW. i'm loving life at the moment and am happy for it to stay as it is, tho a more permanent bf figure wouldnt be bad so long as he was happy for me to carry on having fun with the girls (i'm defo not the type to play around on a guy tho)

    spend wise today,
£7.99 on a pair of combat trousers
£7 on a hoody for the gym
    £20 on dinner
£169 on a red ipod that not only plays music but cures aids in africa (using bday and xmas money for this)

this has to be the last i spend of the bank charges money or when my cc bill comes in i won't be able to cover it  oh well at least i'm not getting into debt over it so i guess it could be worse!
