  • Lynsayjane - that is fantastic news re. bank charges!

Better get down the Court tomorrow - HBOS should have told them, but you know how reliable they are!

    I'll have a cranberry juice if you're buying... ;)

as if 2007 couldnt' get any better, martin responded to my pm! :j

i sent him a wee message last night to say thanks for creating this board and all the help i've got here and he replied this morning, thats made my day that has!

now for what i came on here to say...

whoever said money doesn't buy happiness was a liar. or at least had never suffered through the lack of it. this morning when i woke up i was as close to having a smile on my face as i can be at 8.30 on a friday. it feels like a weight off my shoulders just getting those charges back. i'm almost scared to log onto the online banking page incase it was all a dream! my mind has been racing with how to spend the extra after i clear my cc. i know i should really use it towards my other card, but i've been rather hard on myself for a while now and i think the extra £100 should be for me! i'm off this weekend so i'll do a spot of shopping :D

i wonder, if it feels this good to clear one card how good it'll feel to be debt free? and now it's just that little bit nearer :D

have a good day folks x

well day 7 has gone well. i haven't even left my jammies! :rotfl:

i've cleaned the whole house, all thats left to do is to clean the shower and the oven (but having just realised it's nearly 10pm i think it'll be left), iron my shirts for work (willl do this once they are dry) and do my food plan for this week (sooooo bored of this, need new ideas for meals, gonna drag out my recipe books). i'm quite proud of me, i even defrosted the freezer, did all the shelves in the fridge, mopped the floor in the whole house...it's been a back breaking day! but that just means it'll cope with a wee tidy round for a week or two.

i've not spent a single penny either! i'm going to put off buying my ipod till tomo so i can claim a nsd on moozies thread (if i remember to start posting on there again).

then the bad news, the families been fighting again. my stepdad and wee sis just can't seem to get on these days. he's apparently moved out and mum doesn't know how she can afford to keep the place herself. i've offered to help her sort herself out, i've tried in the past to talk about this site with her but she's not having a lbm anytime soon. perhaps this will push her inthe right direction. i can only hope. last i heard my sis was going home to talk to her so thats a good start. argh it's the only time i don't like being away from home (which i normally love) my sis phones in tears and i can nothing to help.
