My addiction isn'ty toiletries its more makeup. I have about 7 foundations, 8 blushers, 40+ eyeshadows. I'd love to say I could use them all up, but I won't as some of the foundations just don't suit me. For other stuff I am more sensible 2 shampoos, 1 conditioner, 1 deep hair treatment, 2 styling sprays, 2 hairsprays (and only cos one is almost empty) etc.

I tried to list some of my lightly used stuff on Ebay, but it doesn't let you sell used makeup which is really annoying.

OK: make up is an issue for me too..more than toiletries. I had a big sort out for last months challenge. I used t get given a lot of makeup too, so its not all been at cost to me.

I hav [STRIKE]three[/STRIKE] four foundations: one is THE foundation. One I've almost used was an attemp to cut costs..its not atrocious but not the one, so I've been keeping it. One is a liquid foundation I keep for if I need that rather than mineral powder, and its a tiny bit darker....its better for me in warmer weather. One is a badly chosen gift for me ....its actually now in a new box created for when friends come...I'm getting it down and saying if you like it take it...

I've thrown out all icky eyeshadows, all nailvarnishes that went gloopy and all lipsticks that were missing lids or had discoloured at the edges. Coulours I've ''outgrown'' are in the ''gift box'' It feels great. .
  • Went to Boots to use my £5 off voucher as it was the last day to use it. I was only going to get a packet of face wipes, but then I thought if I get some more Protect and Perfect serum I can have one of the free gifts. Oh Dear! Must now avoid Boots altogether.

  • Love the new thread, I was about 20 pages behind on the other and struggling to keep up. Although now found a way to view the thread on my phone!!!!

The weekend just gone was good as used some items up. Finished a MB Blissful Templetree body balm although still have 1.5 bottles to use up. Also binned a body shop vit E moisturiser as when it came out it looked like it had split and you could see oil!

I will be getting myself some Liz Earle stuff from QVC as it is the TSV this Saturday and i do need moisturiser. I've got 1.5 skin tonics and 2 C&P but could do with some exfoliator so will see what they have on offer. But i've got the cost covered as am returning two Kipling bags i bought 2 weeks ago - just not right for me.

Just had a good giggle. This morning I covered my feet in Cliniques body butter (in a tube, must have been a freebie at somepoint I don't like it on my body) and covered them up with a nice thick pair of Elle ski socks and put my long boots on under my trousers for work (Please don't even begin to think what I looked like, you will have nightmares)

Anyway, I went to the doctors as my finger joints are badly swollen and are so painful and hot, the doctor examined them and no, shock horror wanted to look at my toes :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Yes, I was very embarrased as his hands slid around my feet while trying to see if my toes were the same, still keep laughing about it now! Bet he isn't.

I'm off to Boots to see if the Dove deodorant glitch works and will report back with my findings... fingers crossed I don't get completely embarrassed at the till. I need something else there anyway so maybe she won't notice if I'm buying something else :owith it!

Yay! CompletelyLost a big THANK YOU :T for this Boots glitch!

Have just got 2 free deodorants from this! Have printed a voucher for DD too, so this'll keep us going for ages!

    http://www.dove.co.uk/#/gofreshdeos/landing.aspx/

Was trying to manipulate my place in the queue so as to get the dopey-teenage-boy SA, however ended up with the beady-eyed-elderly-lady SA, who squinted at my voucher at arms length and proceeded to hold up the queue whilst she read the details on the voucher out loud :o. However once she was satisfied it was in-date etc, it went through no prob.

Good idea to pick up another 'essential' too, as the voucher takes off more than the Boots price for the deodorant. My Dove shampoo and conditioner was on promotion at £1 each,(although also £1 in my local Nisa convenience store, so no great kudos to Boots there!). I got 2 150ml Dove deodorants, 200ml Dove shampoo and Dove conditioner all for £1.36.

Sig updated. Stocked up with essential purchases for Feb and free deodorant now, so :Tto this Challenge. Love it!!

I've just been and had my hair cut and resisted the temptation to even ask what products she put on it and didn't look at the displays so only paid for the hair cut.

LOL. I have to go for tests weekly and the things my GP and nurses have seen make me cringe. :)
