I've just been and had my hair cut and resisted the temptation to even ask what products she put on it and didn't look at the displays so only paid for the hair cut.

My hairdresser is aveda and I don't like aveda products for my hair at home, phew!

Love the new thread, I was about 20 pages behind on the other and struggling to keep up. Although now found a way to view the thread on my phone!!!!

The weekend just gone was good as used some items up. Finished a MB Blissful Templetree body balm although still have 1.5 bottles to use up. Also binned a body shop vit E moisturiser as when it came out it looked like it had split and you could see oil!

I will be getting myself some Liz Earle stuff from QVC as it is the TSV this Saturday and i do need moisturiser. I've got 1.5 skin tonics and 2 C&P but could do with some exfoliator so will see what they have on offer. But i've got the cost covered as am returning two Kipling bags i bought 2 weeks ago - just not right for me.

please excuse my ignoranc eas never shopped on QVC,what is a TSV?

actually am too afraid to find another source of shopping:eek:

I've just realised that I haven't posted any updates for a good few days so here's mine for the last few days!

Threw out a can of deodorant the other day as it was more or less empty, and a body spray has joined it in the bin today. Won't be buying either again as a) I've swapped to roll-ons since I bought that particular deodorant, and b) the body spray wasn't as nice as some of the Impulse ones that I've got now.

The toiletries shelf in my bedroom is starting to look a *little* less cluttered (emphasis on the little part of that sentence!) but my next aim to use up all of the little tubes and sample things that have been bugging me for ages so hoping to use them up this week.

So many posts to catch up on!! Having a bit of a grotty day with the pain in my knee today - thnk I might have done some more damage to the cartilage (how? there can't be much left to damage!!) as it feels like it's going to give way again, but the cold and damp isn't helping either. Got my sticky- on heat patch though and that's a bit of a help.

I finished a small tube of Avene moisturiser today, got one small and one large left. It really is very nice.
    WIBA? Defintely.

Cleared out some stuff from the bathroom cabinet - old lipsticks, a couple of elderly mascaras that were either empty or dried out, and a foot scrub that had started to look as if it was separating. I found a nice little Body Shop rollerball fragrance oil that thay haven't made in years, but it still smells ok.

I've got an awful lot of fragranced candles as well, so I'm trying to use those up as well, and I've been lighting some at night in the living room.

Judgeaq- I like Avene. I have the light moisturiser, but think I need something a bit richer, although the rich one will probably be too heavy for me!

Hi! I've been lurking on this thread for a while now and would really like to join if you'll have me! Think I may have to do a stocktake later (although I imagine that will be rather scary!!) I know I have at least 6 hairsprays...so not looking forward to finding out what else I've got!!

Moving on from old thread - January was a big spend but I bought lots of bits in the sales that I would need over the next few months. I should be ok not to spend in February but I will need some Mineral Veil in early March as I am getting low.
  • Afternoon all, I haven't posted on here much recently but I've been reading regularly and enjoying your exploits. :D I think when I was last on here, I'd spent a grand total of £3 (toiletries) in January. Then I bought some more stuff... :o

    Toiletries

    Almond Oil - £3.25
    3 x Jojoba Day Cream - £2 (clearance and 3-4-2)
N-Spa Hot Butter Fudge Bath Syrup - £2.98 (on offer)

    Cosmetics

    4 x nail buffers - £1 (pound shop :D )
No.7 Quick Dry Nail Oil - £1.50 (using £5-off voucher) - damn you, PYNM! ;)
    No.7 Eyeshadow Brush - £1 (using £5-off voucher)
    2 x Collection 2000 Clear Mascara - £3.96
    Collection 2000 Bronzer - £2.98

It is all stuff I didn't have already or needed to replace (apart from the bath syrup - I bought that because I'd had a crappy day and it made me feel better :o ). So my January total was £11.23 on toiletries and £10.44 on cosmetics. Hmmm, I don't think my budget of £25 extra spend on toiletries and £25 extra spend on cosmetics for the year is going to fare very well. ;) I thought, ah well, I probably spend a couple of quid each month on toiletries and a couple of quid on cosmetics... I don't regret anything I've bought so far but keeping track has shown me that I probably spend more on these sort of things than I thought I did. :o
