Damn! Thought I'd got to the end of the pages and realised that there's 6 more with the new thread! Stop talking!!!
I used one of the S&G body butters last night on my legs, smells good and it's a nice consistency.
Also I've been using Palmolive liquid soap - antibacterial one. WIBA? No! It's so annoying. Most of it slips off my hands as I rub them together, every time. And it doesn't wash off the sink very easily, have to rub it off with my hands (so, not very antibacterial afterall). Smells good though. Shame it's like jelly.
I'll have to read the rest later. :eek:0 -
Happy_shopper wrote: »Another Avene fan here! :T I use their Skin Recovery Cream which really helps when I've tried a new product that doesn't agree with me or if my skin's generally just a bit congested. I was wondering if either of you (or anyone else) have tried their Rich Compensating Cream, their Cold Cream or their Ystheal+ Emulsion and if so, what you thought of them? I'll be needing a new night cream soon and I thought I was going to replace it with the same (Simple Anti-Wrinkle) but I fancy a change.
I know Avene's a bit pricey but otherwise I'll probably just spend the same amount of money trying a load of cheaper stuff which will make my face flare up...

The Ystheal gets rave reviews on Makeupalley. Its meant to have a form of retinoid (stronger than in ROC stuff and one step below the prescription stuff). Cold cream isn't really a moisturiser- I've always known it as a cleanser/ makeup remover (although haven't tried the Avene one).
Thanks for that - I didn't think of looking over there.I'll go and have a read. I'm not sure if I want too much kick-a$$ (lol, I've been censored) anti-ageing stuff and if the cold cream isn't suitable then it might be the compensating cream (if my local Boots stocks it)...
Edit: aww, you have to register to read the reviews on Makeupalley.Anyone know what info they want? (I don't want to give them my email address without knowing what other info they'll want afterwards.)

Um that's a shame, I'm going to try 2 thin coats of colour and a top coat and if the same happens again the no7 will be relegated to toes only!I used one of the S&G body butters last night on my legs, smells good and it's a nice consistency.
bet it was the daily smooth, it's lush. I'd love to lay in a bath full of the stuff and roll around.*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150 -

echemist online sometimes end up being cheaper for Avene than Boots. Most Boots seem to have scaled back their stock of Avene.0 -

Yes QVC shopper here, bought all the beauty products & TSV's. I even knew the delivery guy's first name as I had that many deliveries.
Alison Young has a lot to answer for, QVC shopping no more for me. I had boxes & boxes of unopened TSV's everywhere spare bedroom, wardrobe & under bedstorage.0
