    I've been Money Tipped!
I was just thinking that. MMmm Frangipani. But I have asked to be shot if I buy another thing. So that settles that.:(

Sale addict, it sounds like me you are quite influenced by scent. I'm using stuff on the basis of satisfying things with scent. Citrusy scents (on me, or in an oil burner/home fragancing) always cheer me up, for example, and rose and geranium and orange blossom reminds me of hit early summer days with DH....

I wonder if some of the stashes can be put to great other uses which mood enhance and remain MSE?
  • PYNM: painted my nails in collection 2000 diva which is a nice bright red colour, 2 coats plus a top coat. Let's see how long this one lasts. I love red nail varnish, I've got so many shades, I picked this one today because it was quick dry but my nails inc ones are my fave, I always buy loads of glamour mag so I get every shade when they are giving them away free tut tut I'll have to keep an eye on that moving forward.

I'm going to do a different colour every week, and with 33 different colours that will keep me going most of the year!!

Didn't paint my toe nails because the dark blue no7 has lasted well from last week, annoying how no7 lasts well on my toe nails but not my fingers
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

I've missed out...everyone keeps talking about salesaddicts pics and I can't find them. Where are they? (Sorry salesaddict, but I'm a nosy nora! :))

Oh, it's OK, I've already seen that. I thought it was another pic with even more in than that ! Yup, that's impressive: my advice is thus

    1) Finish anything already opened
    2) Throw out all that is gone off (but don't open anything new to check - chance are it will be fine).
    3) Re-home anything that no longer works on you (I've had that a bit with shampoo lately)
    4) Have a 'this must be used' basket with one of everything in it in the bathroom (1 x shampoo, 1 x conditioner etc.), then replace when empty.

The rest of us are going to bet a bottle/tub of our favourite product on how long it will take you to use up that stash from TODAY (keep a count, love, and let us know).

I bet one Body Shop Watermelon Body Butter that it will take salesaddict exactly four years to the day (from today) to use up every product pictured on that table.

    Who'se next?! ;)

Are you being a bit too hard on yourself? It's not as if you were buying Creme de la Mer or Chanel every month.

What do you plan on buying instead? If I needed a really cheap moisturiser I'd get the Aldi one.

I'm sure it will come as no surprise to you to hear that I have all the Aldi products. :o. I would recommend all of them. The only problem is they don't have an spf in the day ones. But the serums are great. The scent may be a bit over powering for some people. The lacura serums are the ones I'm reffering to

I've never tried Nails Inc. I really don't rate Nails Inc coloured polishes though - I found them awful for chipping, even with topcoat :( Which is a shame as they have some really nice colours.

Agreed, I used a pale coffee colour yeaterday with a base coat and top coat and it's knackered already :(
I have spent years and goodness only knows how much money on trying to find the fountain of youth from a lotion or potion.
I now realise that enough sleep, happiness, good food and plain water (yuk:() and a spf15 cream are all it takes to keep you looking your best.
Did I mention chocolate and sex too? Not necessarily at the same time:D

Go you! I need to find a good cream with spf in - all the ones I've tried seem to sting my face :(

EVIL Molton Brown!!!! Sent me an e-mail offering me a lovely free shower gel with any purchase for doing a survey. Evil! Would make a nice present though???!

Oh Inapickle, don't make me post them at the front of the thread. They belong at the back. The are history:). I think I posted them in the early hours of Sunday morning(what a saddo eh?) They are links no actual photos on this thread as some were clever enough to do.

    Hello LIR

you have hit the nail on the head here. Scents are so evocative for me, they really stir deep emotions for me. For years I could not bear the scent of fresh cut flowers. I would never pass a florist. (That goes back to losing my older brother when he was only 18 and I was just 13 the smell of the funeral wreaths and bouquets haunted me). Yet I love the smell of flowers in a garden especially Roses because they bring back memories of my Mum and her lovely garden.

I think it was Mags who asked me why there was no perfume in my stash.
Someone else mentioned working with someone who's perfume was overpowering and disgusting. I have a real fear of wearing a perfume that someone dislikes so I tend not to wear any Although I am sure all my lotions and potions have their own scent. Does anyone esle worry about that? Or is another one of my oddities. I know a really nice girl who I bump into on the train. If I can avoid her though, I will because the perfume she wears makes me feel sick. I am sure it is a very expensive one because she is very designer.

Also I should mention I have a massive stash of essential oils:o
