I would imagine Debenhams would deal with this best. The concession is in their store. I always find letters of complaint with a "terribly upset, bitterly disappointed, always had such positive experiences in your store before" type tone get a better response than a "Mrs Angry" type letter!!

Hmm, my bath will have to wait until the evening now as I have to go and get the littlies soon. I'm happy though because I've finished [STRIKE]all[/STRIKE] most of my housework (remembered I've got to remake the beds!). The ironing's put away and all washing is done. Just dishes to do this evening and DS can help me unload the dw!

I generally get my FCUK products from one particular friend for Christmas/ birthday presents. Last year I got a huge FCUK bag so she must have got it massively reduced, this years version is around £45 and I know she wouldn't have spent that. Unless it was an unwanted gift of hers but I know she likes it too. Matters not 'cause I loves it!!!!!!

  • We had similar experiences with Activity Superstore, we were ringing them on a regular basis to book with them, no one would ever answer. I emailed them to ask if they had gone bust as I couldn't get hold of anyone. Weeks later they emailed to say no they hadn't gone bust. When I eventually got through to someone, whatever dates we could do were unavailable, etc etc. They had to extend our voucher for free because they couldn't fulfil the deal. They really are a pain in the neck to deal with.

I think Debenhams will be sympathetic but the whole fiasco is nothing to do with them, the contract is with Activity Superstore and Nails Inc. You've nothing to lose by writing to them though, which I think you said you had done.

Why don't you google complaint letters and/or Activity Superstore to see if you can get some ideas from others in the same boat?

  • Managed to come out of Boots empty handed. Also ressisited the reduced cheap make up in Primark and the lovely body care items in Aldi. Think soe of these are new- orange packaging, frangipani flavoured and a peppermint and lavender foot scrub.
So been a very good girl today.

:A Didn't buy anything last week, but haven't used anything up either, so feel quite disheartened. And so few of the things I'm using right now are things I would buy again

PYNM, so must paint my nails before the end of the day.

Well done to everyone else though, you all seem to be getting through a lot, I'm envious :D

    I've been Money Tipped!
I can't believe its PYNM again.....I'm adding to my list, even if it only lasts a day or two it cheers me up. I did get my nails done last week (on the train in the end) and amazingly they've lasted (two coats, no top coat) all through the weekend ...even through todays animal feedings. Just strtin to fade on the ends now....perhaps it really is an issue of quality? This is Nars.

Speaking of which I'm going to start a thread asking for advice....don't shoot me, its about a possible purchase...
