OK, rather than a new thread, any definitive answers on the most durable top coat nail varnish on the market?

i put 2 coats of polish on yesterday morning followed by a coat of collection 2000 2 in 1 topcoat and gloss enhancer (it was about £2.50 from asda) 3 nails are already showing signs of flaking and chipping away at the tips. perhaps not the best recomendation

No, but a good steer-clear from advice!
  • Hi everyone, loads of chat in here today :)

Someone was talking about tuppawear, I love the stuff but I do use it a lot. Glad I missed the offer in morrisons though OH gets so annoyed when he opens a cupboard and they all fall out!

I went into waitrose today to get some rolls for oh, it's only a tiny store but I staked it out to see if they stocked their own range of shower gels (for future reference), they don't :(:(:( I want it even more now!!

Also popped into pound shop and avoided toiletries, I even went in aldi and ignored their big section of reduced toiletries. So feeling very proud.

Have pulled out M&S shea butter now that the fcuk one is gone, it's a third used so will go down quick. And I've gota few bids and watchers on ebay so pleased about that :)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

  • What's PYN?

I am moving house! woohoo! Now, this can be a good or bad thing, I can either use it as an opportunity to get rid of stuff that I never use, or as there is a shower in this new house, use it as an excuse to buy lots of lovely shower things!

Going to need some help to stay on the straight and narrow I think!

Paint your nails Monday. An ingenious idea for those of us who have a large stash of nail polish to get through! :rotfl:
Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.... :/
  • AAAAAAAAAAAH! I like it *quickly looks round, spies varnish and grabs it :-D*

  • Hi all cannot believe its pynm already, my weekend has been a blur, big family do plus visiting with my bro and loads of cleaning , but unfortunately not my house:p. My mum had already cooked when i got to hers and i never get to "host" the get togethers cause the kids are always after me, so i cleaned her house for her before guests arrived, as my contribution, she was well chuffed and i kept hearing her tell folks at the get together, must have done a good job:D.

Also have been trying to stop bfing dd and she is not happy, anyone do any long term feeding and succesfully weaned them off without tantrams? Poor girl was really upset today and was going around biting:eek::eek:. Shes never done this before so i know its cause of me trying to stop her feeding.

On a toiletries note, just finished a bottle of Angel by Thierry Mugler, wiba oh yes, smells divine like vanilla and chocolate, but seeing as i have about seven bottles of fragrance to get through, may be a purchase i save for the boots sale this year:o.
£52 in my pot, thats 26 items (inc samples) finished since starting this challenge, and im not over using either.

I would imagine Debenhams would deal with this best. The concession is in their store. I always find letters of complaint with a "terribly upset, bitterly disappointed, always had such positive experiences in your store before" type tone get a better response than a "Mrs Angry" type letter!!

This is so true bronnie, my dh is more an angry letter type and doesnt have as much success with complaining as me lol. Not that i enjoy it at all, far from it, like most people i would rather have great service/ product in the first place.

So are people joining me with pynm, not sure what i am gonna go for today, tell you later.

Good luck everyone and think of all the things you could do , have etc with the money your saving, my very glam hair laser thing is looking closer.

    Nab

    xx
