WOW pynm already!! Will get that done later on when I get a few spare mins
I got myself some tinted moisturiser from Boots, I'd been putting it off for a few days but I need it quite badly. It had to be done, so there
I haven't used anything up and I'm wondering if trying to use stuff up is a good idea for me at allIf I use it up then I have to replace it... obviously duh lol. Which means I have to spend money... that I don't have... so I'm skinter than I am now  My new plan is to stretch the stuff I've got out for as long as possible to save me money... although I do get a buzz from spending £££ on myself
I went nuts with the body butter this morning (M&S Shea Butter mmmmmmmm) so much so that I couldn't actually pull my jeans on... they do fit me perfectly but my legs were so coated they were stuck on my thighs and I had to wash it offWhat an idiot I am!!!
Will be back later to read up properly, gonna go and make some pizza for tea :T I LOVE pizza lol.
Oh befor I go... I threw the biggest hint to OH that my night cream is about to run out and maybe we should nip to Boots tomorrow. This was followed by the raised eyebrow. So I explained that if he bought it for me it'd be ok and wouldn't actually count. He even looked at the tub and memorised the name :A flippin eck I'm good (I am if he buys it lol)Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -

Please excuse a lurker for butting in, but I swear by Seche Vite. I usually buy mine from Ebay for about £4, but you can also get it from Amazon and I recently noticed Boots have started selling it, but its about £9 there.
I've been following this thread for the last week or so and have been inspired by you all to sort my mammoth stash and actually start using the products rather than just admiring them!
I've been meaning to do it for a few months now but never actually got round to it but after reading this thread I've decided to bite the bullet and get started. I've taken a few annual days leave from work and have until Wednesday to do it. My bedroom currently looks like an explosion in a Boots aisle, or several! Mainly due to all of the grabbit and boots threads on here
Have to dash, I only stopped for food and water then I'm going back to continue with the sorting.
If its OK with you ladies, I may come and join you all once its all in an orderly fashion and I have actually started using everything up!0 -

just started a clarins pre melt cleansing gel after a friend recomended it but I am not impresssed so WNBIA.
Noooo, don't tempt me with the YSL!
I still have a pure melt cleansing gel stashed somewhere to use - it sounded like my perfect product so I got three when there was an offer on, even though I hadn't tried it before! I woudn't buy it again though.
I should probably admit that not long before joining in with this challenge I stocked up on EL Advanced night repair (a 50ml bottle from Debenhams because I got some samples with it AND a 75ml bottle from Boots because it was £2 more than the normal cost of a 50ml one - a 50ml bottle lasts me a year!), I also bought some Clinique Superdefense because it came with a free eye cream and night cream, A Clinique eye cream because it came with a free eye make-up remover and masara, and a Laura Mercier concealer because it sounded great (it actually is though!). So I've been able to resist other things so far as I'm still happy about my recent purchases, but I don't know when that will wear off...
I also used up a Lush Running to the Embassy scrub/melt thing for feet last night. WIBA: No - it didn't do anything at all for my feet! It wasn't scrubby enough, didn't moisturise - I'm glad it was free in a grab bag!Yorkielass wrote: »Molton Brown sensual hanaleni moisture bath and shower (I think!) - WIBA? No not at £17 although I do love the smell and the bubbles, although last night they didn't last long at all. I've had one bottle of this as a pressie from my brother and one from my mum over the last couple of years and if I got another one I wouldn't say no- next stop lush bubble bath bars/bath bombs for me I think!
...
That's on my wishlist still, despite the fact I have a load of others to get through! Along with Heavenly Tigerlily.0 -
Oh dear: PYNM has been a bit of a disaster. On reflection I decided my nars orgasm had enough life in it to go under another pale colour for an interesting new colour. I thought nice sheer light blue I have and like in cold weather would be good, and might end up with a hint of purple....in stead they re a pale mushroomy greyish beige....I'll try a nother coat of blue.0

Last year, just before I started the 100 day challenge on DFW (which was my 'light bulb moment' with regards to cosmetics) I had used 5 skincare vouchers in Boots to buy 5 lots of Olay face stuff - goodness knows why as I never use the product and had other similar ones. Each one cost me nearly £2 as well as the voucher so I'd ended up with 5 products I didn't really need and £10 down (not to mention making sure I'd spent £5 5 times to get the vouchers in the first place.... - although to be fair sometimes people left them in our staff room at work and I'd pick them up that way)
Anyway I still had the receipts so I took all 5 back to Boots unused with the receipts and they refunded me the money I'd spent on each one - so nearly £10 onto the giftcard I'd been using for the money I'd made selling things. Since then I've only used a couple of No7 vouchers and only towards things OH and I actually needed.
Well done for seeing sense and getting your money back. Your post about Olay reminds me of the time there was a Time Delay voucher being given out and I ended up with a stupid amount of Time Delay (that I don't really like!). I had loads of face washes (that were free, but I didn't really like them and they were cluttering up the house), moisturisers and eye creams - the extra £1 or £2 pounds I spent was such a waste as I used as much as I could for 6mths to a year and then got so fed up of it that I gave it all away (apart from the odd couple of tubes still lurking in the bathroom as a reminder!).

Hi Girls!
Another lurker here (blush), by the time I've read all the posts I don't have time to reply!
For top coat I'd recommend Orly Sec Dry, I have Calgel clear overlays, painted (always take my own colour so I can match my toes) and then sealed with this.
I have this done every 2 weeks and from visit to visit the worse damage is only slight "fading" on the free edge! Great stuff!
I have used up today;
Aveda shower gel
Aveda shampoo
Aveda conditioner
WIBA? No to all 3, they were Rosemary and Mint - surely they're only good on roast lamb......?
How do I get the smiley faces?
Keep up the good work everyone - truly inspirational......xxx0
