I've finished the Golden Glow body lotion (that was an ancient glitch :rotfl:) that has been in the bathroom for the last 2 years. Very pleased! I've got more  of them, but still, it is progress. Don't want to list my perfumes right now as I'm trying to finish a bottle that someone gave me, and dwelling on my favourites will only weaken my resolve. To be fair, it isn't as awful as I thought it would be, but I'm too embarrassed to name it!

Come on Sophy, spit it out, I'm dying to know what it is! :rotfl:

Will name and shame my perfume collection in a bit too

I have only bought a tube of toothpaste (an essential!) since NOvember!
  • my perfume collection contains:

    1 x j lo deseo open
    1 x j lo deseo unoopened
    1 x j lo glow
    1 x j lo miami glow
1 x avril lavigne black star.

Can you tell my fav collection??

Personally I have never found a fragrance i liked until J lo came along and believe me I tried them all (5 years working at Boots on the fragrance/ cosmetic counters).

REALLY wanted the summer one but it was only ever available in duty free and by the time it appeared on boots web site it had sold out.

Don't like her 'live' or 'still' ranges tho.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

    .
I don't seem to wear perfume much and I mostly like clean fresh smelling things. If I had a signature scent it would be Jo Malone Lime Basil Mandarin. Others in my stash:

    Soap and Glory
    Clarins Eau Dynamistique
    Marc Jacobs Daisy
    Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers
    Burberry

But what I've been wearing every day recently is the Impulse "into glamour" body spray in the navy bottle. I love it.

finished a Sanctury body wash today - WIBA yes as I love it but I have two more in stock plus other shower gels/body washes to use before I need to buy any more. Shame cause I could get the GWAP in Boots if I did need some:p

Also finished a John Freida brilliant Brunette shampoo - WIBA- definately as this is my favourite shampoo and I will have to buy some soon. I went to get another bottle out of my stash that I have been using for the past 2 years and 7 months and found I had just finished the last bottle:eek:. I resisted the urge to rush out and get some there and managed to find a 3/4 full bottle of herbal essance in my vanity box (I normally have it stocked for taking on holidays). I still have two John Frieda conditioners so they will keep me going for the time being until I see the shampoo on special again.

I also binned an ancient bottle of Aapril body scrub which was half empty and I have had it for years and years. I found it whilst I was manically chucking things out of the bathroom cupboard looking for more shampoo. I don't really like it on my skin (too rough) and have several other ones to use up so I don't feel guilty about flinging it.

Was going to have a PYN Sunday but I am so tired I am going to bed. Night night
  • hi everyone
have finished a few thngs this week:
Molton brown gingerlily shower gel -WIBA - would like it as a present but far to expensive for what it was.
Radox - wellbeing bubble bath wiba - no horrible smell like washing up liquid and still got the matching shower gel to go (bought in boots sale before lbm)
Ulay mosituriser - wiba - yes lovely value product, but have many mositurisers to use before i need to spend again
toothpaste - found 3 in stash in OH draw in bathroom - and he says i am bad for hoarding products!

I too find that any kind of fake tan product streaks - think its because i am very very pale.
Lookng forward to another spend free month. Have to confess i did pick up the clarins freebies in boots and debenhams, but will save a few pennies in the long run !

Maisie PLEASE let me know as soon as you see it on special. I do love this but find it is never on special plus it really doesnt last long especially the conditioner I can finish it in a few days ( long dry hair) Love it though, so lets keep our eyes peeled for any offers.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I love hearing what perfumes people have and what are their favourites... anyone else willing to share?

    I currently have:
Karl Lagerfeld - Sun Moon Stars; I love this - it's been "my" perfume since it cam eout in the early 90's and it's wonderful. OH loves it too so I tend to wear it when we go out together, I also wore it on our wedding day. :o
    Cerutti - 1881; Second favourite!
CK One; I'm a real fan of these almost aftershave-y scents - this is excellent and is something I always buy a bottle of if I find myself coming back across the channel on P&O as they always have it on offer. One of the few perfumes that smells good on both me and my Mum.
Estee Lauder - Beyond Paradise; I loved this at first smell and have used it on and off ever since.
Dior - J'Adore summer; Won't buy this again once the current one is used up. I do like it, just not enough, IYKWIM!

I have lots of minatures too - mainly from the sets that Boots do at Christmas, so I need to work through those - I'm working on the J'Adore at the moment though.

Oh, and I'm with those who love the John Frieda Brilliant Brunette shampoo. The whole range is good actually, I use several of the products. Best offer usually is the Boots 342's which come along occasionally, or the haircare voucher but that usually only gives about £2 off.

*edit* I've just said to OH that I'm sure one of these days I'm going to check that Sun Moon Stars is still available only to find out it's being discontinued, and he says that if I do find that out I'm to let him know so he can go and buy me a few bottles of it! Awwwww!
