Here's to having too many perfumes!

    Indeed :D
  • OK feeling better about my splurge yesterday now after reading the perfumes talk - I have one :) well I also have another one in a box that someone gave me but haven't opened it. Guess I'm a signature perfume kinda gal.

Doesn't it go off once you open it?
  • Forgive me ladies for i have sinned!!

Was hoping for a lie in today but no surprise i was wide awake at 7.30am. So popped the TV on in the hope it would send me back to sleep, next thing i know i have phone and card in hand and am ordering the QVC TSV which is an SBC set!! I think the TV must have sent me back to sleep and i sleep-shopped!!!

I am going to give one of the 4 products to my mum as she suffers on her joints and they have an intense product that they say is fantastic for that.

I did spend some other pennies when i went out but it was on baby clothes for a friend who is due twin girls in April.

However yesterday i listed 20 items on ebay and have about another 30 to list which i will do next weekend.

I will try and list my perfumes later.

OK, I've OFFICIALLY finished the Neutrogena Foot Cream and the Faith in Nature Purifying Face & Body Scrub.

WIBA? The Neutrogena: yes, but it's not as good as the foot repair stuff. The FiN: yes: oragnic, paraben free, VERY scrubby and therefore a brilliant exfoliator. The only possible bad thing I could say about it is that it doesn't have much of a fragrance, but that could be brilliant to those who are allergic to such things, so it's not exactly a 'bad' point, IYKWIM.

Back to the Body Shop Passionfruit Face Wash it is, then...

  • I've been following this thread for the past 2 months and was inspired. I cleared out my bathroom cabinets in January and found loads of stuff that I didn't know I had  I've been obsessed this month with finding the right skin care products and sticking with them once and for all. Both for the good of my skin and my purse.
I'm 43 and I came off the pill 18 months ago, It was a combination of my age and health - my Dr was worried about the risks. The only problem is that my acne and peroid pains have come back with a vengence! :( I use Zynex Topical solution that my Dr gave me, but my skincare has been either to harsh or too greasy. I've tried Boots, Body Shop, Freederm, Dr Nick Lowe and Murad and think I've got the range that works. It's L'Oreal Pure Zone. It's had good reviews online and it seems to be a reputable company. Anyone else tried it?
So hopefully, when we start the March thread, I should be able to stick to my non-buying challenge. There was a BOGOF offer on Always at Boots this month, so I won't need to buy anything at all next month! :)

I've finished the Golden Glow body lotion (that was an ancient glitch :rotfl:) that has been in the bathroom for the last 2 years. Very pleased! I've got more  of them, but still, it is progress. Don't want to list my perfumes right now as I'm trying to finish a bottle that someone gave me, and dwelling on my favourites will only weaken my resolve. To be fair, it isn't as awful as I thought it would be, but I'm too embarrassed to name it!

I think your colleague talks pants! :D I only ever used to wear Opium or Cinnabar in my teens and twenties, but as I got older I started to try more scents and now I have about six or seven perfumes that I wear for different occasions. I would imagine most women would have more than one perfume?

Im one of them  :o:cool:

I have only worn one main fragrance for about 15 years. I will wear it till I cant get it anymore. I thought they were going to stop making it about 2years ago point OMG I was so stressed.

I wear Moschino Cheap & Chic ( red & black). LOVE IT. ALWAYS. Everytime I smell it it makes me so happy.

I just got Harajuku Lovers- "Love" for Xmas as I found I really suit this.

I cant stand floral scents and maybe its just me but perfumes that smell great on other people ( eg most of the ones people have/talk about ) smells utterly rank on me. I am drawn to mooching around the fragrance counters but almost all smells are vile/give me a headache/smell like an old lady. :(
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

How brave to post the piccies Vikki! It doesn't seem that bad - mainly toothpaste and mouthwash (and that's no bad thing). Looking at your sig you're doing really well on the savings front. Keep focusing on that when you see the dreaded BOGOF!

Thanks, did have loads more. Big S&G hat box, loads of make up etc. Yea it mostly is mouth stuff lol slightly embarrassing, not like some peoples lovely collections on here. I buy loads when its £1, instead of paying full price, but going to use it all up now then get some more. Given loads away to sister and mum, and used up tons of it since December, surprising how much you can use by have a shower every other day and using it religiously.
I am making a pledge to buy what I like and nothing else, boring I know but least then there is no risk of me not liking it.

Also made a big decision! Put my GHD's on ebay! Eeek!
