    I have spent £82.39
What a waste! I won't get round to using this stuff for ages! I could have bought some much lusted after ghd's for that! I'm pretty disgusted with myself! I'm aiming for a zero spend in March. I NEED NOTHING!!!!
:( I hope next month is better for you, it's quite shocking when you add it all up and realise what you could have had. For what it's worth, I'm not far behind you this month.

Total spend for the month - £60.03
    (£20.24 of which were non-essentials)

I made £17.51 from selling toiletries, which almost offsets the non-essentials. This month I got through a large chunk of my stockpile of essentials, which is why my spend is so high.

    mmm sounds an idea.

i think i may actually only have 1 or 2 blackcurrent application left given the strength it took to get out the tube last night. :p

You might not want to hear this......but don't forget to cut open the tube;)

Hia, sorry to hear about those who've overspent. In fairness, you've probably not spent as much as you normally do. I haven't used anything up, reaching a bit of a stalemate! Need to have a bath in a sec, and so do a bit of pampering.

    I need:
    - face scrub

    Definitely do not need:
    - moisturiser
    - eye cream
    - body lotion

  • I finished a few things this week. A body shop moisturiser and a concealer.

Had a bit of an up and down week this week.
Bad: Firstly OH fell at work and went over on his foot so was off work for a couple of days.
Good: Finally ordered a new kitchen which i've wanted ever since we moved into the house almost 9 years ago plus we got it on 3 years interest free credit!
Bad: Came on on Thursday and found OH trying to find out why the heating wasn't working. He has found out the problem but it is still not working so i'm banished to the lounge in front of the fire. Hopefully should be fixed sometime next week.
Bad: OH installed an update on one of our desktop computers on Thursday and it hasn't worked sinced.
Good: The flat we have which we will be renting out as a holiday let just got awards a 5 star rating by the tourist board.

So 3 bad things and 2 good things - if the universe is keeping things balanced then we are due one more good thing.

And hopefully Monday or Tuesday i will hear if i got the promotion i applied for at work so i've got my fingers crossed that will be our last piece of good news.

Sorry for babbling on off topic.

Hopfully will use up another moisturiser in the next couple of days as only have dregs left in the pot.

    Afternoon ladies

Sorry to hear your bads outnumbered your goods loopylulu, hopefully it'll be more good next week :)

Just a quick update, as last night I finished:

Dove Supreme Silk Lotion-WIBA? I have one more left which I've started using, but to be honest, not very likely to get more. It's a lovely product, the smell is fresh and light and it goes on and absorbs pretty well, but like many of you after going the Body Butter Way, I can't go back to normal lotion. Unless it's a scent-complimentary one like the one you get with a fragrance gift set of course ;)

I can honestly say that I have not bought any since Dec 10th!!!!!!!
Thought I was going to have to get some anti-whiff a couple of weeks ago but as part of my decluttering escapades 'found' 4 lurking at the back of the airing cupboard. Also found a Laura Geller balance-n-brighten so have not had to get any loose powder as I thought.

I must say its making such a difference to the cc balance as its not getting used, and the money Im saving is being use to over pay the minimum payment. Truly it has made such a difference to the debt:j

me too. I have not bought anything that i have not needed since Jan. I have noticed now i have money left for other things, plus the cupboards are looking barer.
Well done to both of you :T

Are you both new to the challenge? I'm still reading the January thread and am up to page 25 out of 70 (50 out of 140 for all you who don't have the longer page option) so am still trying to get familiar with everyone's name so apologies for my ignorance :o

I started the challenge on 1st January but since last year I have been more careful when buying TSVs on QVC. I think more carefully about whether I actually need the products and when its a Liz Earle TSV I look at what large sizes you get and whether of not im running out. As before i was ending up with lots of 'spare' products.

Have finished a mediterranean lemon rosemary & walnut handcream. I would buy it again, but can't, since they've axed it :rotfl: Never mind, that's what stockpiles are for :p Moving on to a No 7 Younger Longer hand cream, since its the smallest hc I've got, and I'm sick of using large sized products that never finish.
  • hi all
flying visit as ive been left home alone for a couple of hours but ive got tons to do, just wanted to report managig to use up a charlie gold bodyspray:T that means my bodyspray stash is now down to 5 but only 1 charlie (blue) left in it.

havent brought anything today but forgot to confess the avon lady brought me a nail oil (goes on polish to dry it quicker) she said i have to leave it till it goes tacky before putting it on as a customer reported it smuges if you put it on straight away. .(i only ordered this as ive started doing my nails again to use up my stash but im too impatient and end up doing something and smuging them before they are properly dry)

  • I must confess to buying some crabtree & evelyn toiletries but they were for mothers day and i got a great bargin. The sets had 20% off as part of a 3 days sale, i found a code for an extra 15% off and got free delivery for spending over £40. I also got cash back.
The sets arrived this morning and are gorgeous plus a free sample of hand cream for me!
