I thought I would not need to join this challenge as I don't use make up or perfume and am not a body lotion/face cream sort of person but I have had to empty my bathroom/airing cupboard today so the hot water tank could be inspected so I thought I'd have a full tidy out.

I have found I have an addiction or two :~( and fully eat my words.

I found 24 sunscreen/aftersun bottles and worst still, I counted 27 Original source bottles - mainly 'teatree and mint' shower gel and 'lemon grass and water mint' refills shower gel.

OMG !! Where do I report for rehab ?

Here: although, as far as I am concerned, the mint and tea tree is not an addiction but a life necessity: it's the only thing that turns me into a human being in the morning and therefore society in general benefits from it and must try it as well. ;)

Awww your bad and I'm quoting you incase anyone misses it!!!!! :rotfl:

But seriously never mind, it's done now and next month you'll be able to get those GHD's you want :T Theres loads of stuff I'd love but somehow never quite get enough money together. This month is pretty hard for me because I've actually saved enough money for my leather jacket... just need a fiver!!! Now the dog needs an op and he's obviously my priority so I've kissed the jacket goodbye and I'm hoping to claim on his insurance policy and maybe get the jacket next month.

Maybe get yourself a tin or pot to put your pennies in when you get tempted by something nice? I bet you're buying those GHD's before you know it ;) It's always easier when you've got a goal. My new plan is to go and look at what I've got that I haven't used, it usually puts a stop to me buying something I think I want.

You'll grow to love those scratches...the wear they endure is part of it. with wear it will smooth out and you'll miss them.:)

I know :) I'm a little bit sad because I managed to put 3 huge scratches in the back of it a week after I first got it (14 years ago ) and I've just realised they've completely vanished!! Also it's not quite perfectly round anymore and it's thinning slightly!! I'll probably take it to the jewellers for a clean up :D

I've just tried the 2True pressed powder... and it makes me look a bit ghostly. I'm going to see what it's like in natural light tomorrow.

What do you think is worse - wearing foundation that's too pale or foundation that's too orange? :S
Too orange is definitely much worse!

Is there anybody on this the "no buying toiletries thread" thread who has managed to not buy anything?

    Hiya
I can honestly say that I have not bought any since Dec 10th!!!!!!!
Thought I was going to have to get some anti-whiff a couple of weeks ago but as part of my decluttering escapades 'found' 4 lurking at the back of the airing cupboard. Also found a Laura Geller balance-n-brighten so have not had to get any loose powder as I thought.

I must say its making such a difference to the cc balance as its not getting used, and the money Im saving is being use to over pay the minimum payment. Truly it has made such a difference to the debt:j

    I've been Money Tipped!
... now question - do i use the matching body butter with it or keep on with the open blackcurrent one??

chicky wiggle, I have long accepted I am not a one bottle open at a time sort of person. I like using different scents at different times. I'd try both butters layered over it..for different scents.

    mmm sounds an idea.

i think i may actually only have 1 or 2 blackcurrent application left given the strength it took to get out the tube last night. :p
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
