I never bothered to look at the L'oreal as I was hoping for something cheap (i.e. less than £7) to use for a couple of weeks, but if this 2True stuff isn't any good I will have a look next time I'm near Boots. I was looking at Sleek too, and they had one that was yellowy but it was too dark.
Oh, and I used to use a Maybelline one too but stopped buying it about a year ago as I bought a new one and the colour had changed! It was the shade 'natural' (70)... it took me ages to find a decent match after they changed it. I think all Maybelline foundations have pink undertones now
Yes - exactly what I found with Maybelline - their "nude" used to be my colour, but any more.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

melonade i hope your little dog is ok and the op isnt as expensive as you fear. sorry also to hear about your engagement ring damage.
Ive thrown some makeup away this afternoon it was really old honest and manky colours i'd never wear again. 3 lippys and 2 eyeshadows in sure ive had those lippys longer than some of my children (my youngest is almost 10 before anyone asks) and the eyeshadows were little tubs of powder in sparkly electric blue and purple i never was very sucessful in putting them on and ended up with more under my eyes than above them. The colours made it look like i'd got badly bruised eyesso they are gone.

The worst thing is that in the past two years I have hardly used any cosmetics/products and have kind of let myself go (keeping clean obviously but not spending enough time pampering, moisturing etc), and as a result have lost a lot of my self confidence.CompletelyLost wrote: »ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::(:(
Okay, now I've got that out... I was using my new pot of mineral foundation (£17 I paid for it and it was 3/4 full) today and I spilt the whole lot...........Does anyone know of a good makeup that has yellowish tones to suit light asian skin? How annoying. I'm always doing this with my half used blusher because I can't bear to throw it out until I've used every last speck.

I managed to take three things back to Boots. :A They weren't overly helpful and wouldn't refund anything at all onto a giftcard. I got supremely red and embarrassed, but I swapped the bits I didn't want for some moisturising socks and a Soap & Glory back brush which was reduced. I'm still left with four handbag sized Frizz Ease though. I might try again another day when I have recovered.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -
Hi everyone, I went to Boots today, and did well. One packet of floss (none left in stockpile) and an essential oil I needed. Don't know what I'll do about the No 7 voucher though. I looked at all the products, and wanted to buy the new No 7 eye palette, but managed to walk away. :rotfl:
On the other hand, I bought 3 packets of herbal/speciality teas this lunchtime. My other stockpiled obsession0 -
Well I need some deoderant at the weekend and also have been hearing great recommendations about bio oil on another site and am tempted to buy it. Anyone use it? Or able to recommend where I might get it cheaply?
This is a new month for me since I got paid today so technically not cheating on the challenge0 -

That was brave of you, I think you deserve a pat on the back. :T I couldn't have done it, though oddly, I'd have no problem if it were electrical goods or something like that. Good for you!0 -

Yep, I use it on my arms where i've got some scarring I want to get rid of - and it is definitely working. It's not the best moisturiser though - it's better than nothing, but not as good as Body shop body butter.
I last got it from Superdrug as they had it half price. Apparently H&B sell it quite cheaply, and it's good value at Amazon too: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bio-Oil-3255270-Bio-Oil-200ml/dp/B00129XP8M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=drugstore&qid=1267204695&sr=8-10 -

Woop woop, I've used up some more things!
Tresemme conditioner bottle: only the decanted bottle to use now.
2x Jelly Belly shower/bath gels (60ml) in a silly little inflatable packet with a blow up type stopper. WIBA: Nice smell, awful packaging, so, no.
Body show peppermint body lotion. WIBA: Nice smell, liked the pump action until it got empty. Not thick enough, and veeeeeeeeery greasy. So, no!
I noticed that DH had got out a lynx shower gel, so I'll let him use that for a bit while I go onto other items.
I'm hoping that DD will finish off the upside down shampoo this evening too.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0
