used the freebies from clarins last night, mask that you just leave to sink in(it did completly...must have really dry skin!)then serum and finally cream all from the Hydration range.WIB....probably when on bonus time as the mask is £30,don't know about the other prices......pity I only have £28 on Boots card as going for the facial from She in March so could have bought it then.
did nails with No 7 magic polish (the one that changes colour when you put a clear coat on top)WIBA no only got it as had a £5 voucher so it cost £1.50 ,colour with no top coat sludgy grey(called chocolate) and it is very thick and have got air bubbles in 2 nails that I see when I put my glasses on!0 -

No, don't bin, take it back to Boots and tell them it burns, and see if you can swap it for something else you need, or points.0 -
Doubt it: but we will probably get a message from the mods telling us that the thread is taking up too much server capacity and that we need to start a new one. Does that count?! :rotfl:Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

For me this is only page 50. I recommend longer pages.0

I popped in to the nearest big boots this morning to see what they had, and the woman was so lovely, she gave me 7 samples in total! She gave me all the samples of the Hydration range, as my skin feels quite dry, an all in 1 cleanser, a separate eye cleanser, an eye cream, and a rebalancing moistuiser. I'm looking forward to trying these, especially the mask now you've said that, but not until i've used up some more open stuff, or I'll end up with lots of open sample tubs, and an almighty mess :rotfl:0 -
Glad you sorted out your Dandelion issue
It was me who got the benefit foundation type stuff.
I'm really really liking it tooIt's called 'Some Kinda Gorgeous' it's allegedly a 'foundation faker'. It goes on with a sponge, sort of like a powder foundation, but it's not at all heavy and dries to a lovely smooth, light finish. It's translucent so suits all skin tones. Might be worth popping by a Benefit counter and getting the girl to do a wee makeover on you with it. I love doing this but always end up out of pocket as I just feel awful if I walk away without buying anything
.
I wear 'You Rebel Light' tinted moisturiser from Benefit too, but find it slightly greasy on the skin, especially in the summertime.
HTH.
Thank you, I will pop in tomorrow, going out tomorrow night so might blag a little makeover for that!
The foundation sounds lovely, I use Max Factor colour adapt and have done since it came out, it's not heavy but sometimes I feel it looks a bit fake! I liked that look when I first used it, but think as I have got older I could do with something more natural.:T8 months to go till end of the IVA :j:rotfl::T0 -

We need an "ethos of the challenge" post for the front page of the March thread.I do like the olay stuff though and it leaves my skin nice and soft.
!
I also prefer Olay to No7.What is the pawpaw ointment please? If it's better than EA 8 hour cream, I would like to try it
I don't own any but it comes in an orange tube and is a bit of a cult product like carmex lip balm. Not the easiest thing to find, internet order I'd say. http://www.pawpawstore.co.uk/category1_1.htmTotal debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
The worst thing is that in the past two years I have hardly used any cosmetics/products and have kind of let myself go (keeping clean obviously but not spending enough time pampering, moisturing etc), and as a result have lost a lot of my self confidence.
.
Do you still buy beauty products despite not really using them? I always buy them regardless of how much or little pampering I'm doing.mandymoomoo wrote: ».."because we're worth it"..
For some unexplained reason L'oreal doesn't appeal to me. Neither does their sister company Lancome. Too much perfume in their skincare but I do like Lancome juicy tubes and mascara.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000
