Tip of the day: Remove jewellery before using sandpaper!!! I've scratched the back of my engagement ring to bits and it's a right mess :o OH isn't much impressed and I'm quite gutted.

Be back later for a proper read, happy Friday to you all :D

You'll grow to love those scratches...the wear they endure is part of it. with wear it will smooth out and you'll miss them.:)

We are definitely going to finish a bottle of shampoo and conditioner this weekend. It counts that its for the dogs, doesn't it? :):) Actually, I'm having a dog toiletry moment because I normally buy some at Crufts and now I'm wondering what to do about that....and ...please don't laugh...doggy perfume. The doggy perfume really helps when you have lots of big house dogs, they get a twice a week squirt each. I don't have enough to last another year, and not sure I'll be exhibiting this year coming...

Ive thrown some makeup away this afternoon it was really old honest and manky colours i'd never wear again. 3 lippys and 2 eyeshadows in sure ive had those lippys longer than some of my children (my youngest is almost 10 before anyone asks) and the eyeshadows were little tubs of powder in sparkly electric blue and purple i never was very sucessful in putting them on and ended up with more under my eyes than above them. The colours made it look like i'd got badly bruised eyes :o so they are gone.

Sometimes honesty is the best policy: if you know you definitely won't wear it, get rid fo it. You will feel better for the extra space and being nearer the end end of your stash, and knowing you have to wade through stuff you don't like. :)

Well I need some deoderant at the weekend and also have been hearing great recommendations about bio oil on another site and am tempted to buy it. Anyone use it? Or able to recommend where I might get it cheaply?

This is a new month for me since I got paid today so technically not cheating on the challenge :)

Bio oil is ALWAYS cheap in Home bargains if you are anywhere near one of those?

Well I have a few reports:
Another TS Soothe shampoo & conditioner used - WIBA- yes, I have done these are replacements.
A hotel shampoo mini used as shower gel WIBA I have now decided that I am not going to take all the toiletries again- obviously hotels have to build the price of these freebies into the room rate in some way, and the environmental degradation of all these mini bottles when the contents are so naff. SO NO NO NO!
Heading towards the end of Loreal plenitude hydrafresh facial moisturiser- WIBA YES- this is fantastic. It is a good one for summer, very light. Ive never tried one of these gelly style creams before but I really like it. Face really feels very soft now, much softer than it has done in ages.

I am now embarking on Time delay Sunshine gradual tan daily SPF. Ive had this before and get them with the Time delay voucher.

Oh brought another one of these home for me last night  I will consider if there is anything worth having ie that I NEED, or will do soon.

Bit aggreieved with myself as the Trevor sorbie thermal hair thing I bought last week is still unused. To think I have almost busted Febs budget with it.
    Lesson learned.

I also used the 20p MEDITERRANEAN olive pistacio and almond boots body scrub. I really like this. Feels REALLY scrubby! And not plasticky or slicky, very grainy. Do they still sell this ( I got it at boots clearance) wish Id bought more than one now but I thought Id be restrained in case I didn't like it!

Hope everyones well I feel like Ive been away for ages!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I bought one of these with the Boots voucher before I started here - is it very good? I thought it'd make a good day time moisturiser so took a chance and splashed out 99p for it :p

Right, ladies, I'm off for my Fabulous Full-on Friday Feel-Good Pampering Session so will catch up with the thread sometime soon when I'm all polished and glowing ;) Hope you all have a lovely evening :)
  • I've just tried the 2True pressed powder... and it makes me look a bit ghostly. I'm going to see what it's like in natural light tomorrow.

What do you think is worse - wearing foundation that's too pale or foundation that's too orange? :S

I wondered why the almost-empty shower gel was still almost-empty & not in the bin actually empty: turns out DH has been using soap as he thought 'that was all we had'

    ( the stash has about 8 plus 3 big S&G bottles :o)

    it's dead at last :j and DS2's old Head & Shoulders :)

started a mini size Dove peach shower creme - it looks like it'll do several showers, but every little space counts!

Am trying to finish the last dregs of two toothpastes plus some liz earle botantical body wash at the moment. Have finished up my ts curl cream and am now used my boots own brand replacement which is cheaper and works just as well.

I now need to find places where my old/barely used nails inc polishes can go. Am thinking of giving them to the charity shop.

Think im going to stop using mascara, eyelashes get all gloopy and yesterday i actually pulled out an eyelash while trying to get rid of the gloop.
MFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different
  • wahoooo finally finished the Avril Lavigne body lotion (don't think i've already declared it). WIBA: prob not, smelt lush but very runny.

finished cocoa body scrub. WIBA: noo, smells nice and did leave my legs smooth but was farrr to runny and i lost more of the tub to the bath water then my body.

hmmm whats next......... ohhh i think i have a winnie the pooh scrub (creme caramel) flavour i was bought 16 months ago when DS was born.... now question - do i use the matching body butter with it or keep on with the open blackcurrent one??
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

I can;t find it on the website so I suspect not. Having said that, I reckon it's a fair guess that the Extracts ones might be very similar as that seems to be the latest "equivalent" range, doesn't it. I've got one of these to use by the way so I'm delighted to hear your report! :D

Orange for sure - especially when you can see a tideline round the jaw! :rotfl:
