Is there anybody on this the "no buying toiletries thread" thread who has managed to not buy anything?
Well, I've only been on here a week and I haven't bought anything but thats not really a long time!
I did go to Tesco today and completely ignored the toiletries aisles as I didn't want to see what was on offer. I haven't been near Boots so no temptation there but I will need to go either next week or week after because I've used up my small freebie tube of tinted moisturiser :j and I don't have a great deal left in the full size one. I was tempted to go and see what the voucher thingy on Wednesday was but thought better of it! :cool:Mortgage Free October 2013 :T0 -
Talking about goody bags, I went to the Liz Earle evening do at the London store 2 weeks ago. Whilst there I had £10 to spen in store, got a freebie of my choice with the set I bought (small ,was given a perfume sample by one of the therapists and then in the goody bag I got a cleanse and polish, small skin tonic and small skin repair. I was really pleased to end up with 2 handbag sized skin repairs. If you get invited to one go as it was a really nice evening and you get to talk to the therapists about any skin problems you have.Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0

BUT, I did spend that £5 Boots Voucher on Time Delay eyecream (cost me £1.35) and even though it's a small amount, I am annoyed with myself.
I did intend to ebay it, but it doesn't seem to sell.
I don't really bother with eyecream, but I did open it and start using it.
Worst of all, I would never have bothered using the free No7 voucher in the past, were it not for getting the idea of buying something cheap with it from this thread :eek:
....so work that one out!!!
Think I'll use it up on my hands and get rid of it!
I've never EVER managed to finish an eye cream... not even a sample size one, and not even when I've made the solemn promise of using it everyday. After 3 months or so I get bored, and as I don't notice any difference (maybe because i still have no wrinkles), and give up...
I've 3 opened ones and a few new ones (the unopened ones are GWP size, so all premium brands!). I might as well use them as hand creams as you say... problem is I've like 10 different hand creams! (plus, I sinned with the bodyshop hemp creams!)

My kind of shopping! (Doesn't happen much though)
The SpaceNK and Liz Earle Goody Bags sound fab. I'm jealous! I think Goody bag events should be an allowed exception to the "no toiletries challenge":)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Yeah, the goody bag wasn't the problem....it was the other stuff.
But I'm happy. 0
