Ok,
I have fallen off the wagon big time- I was doing very well. Since (re) starting to challenge I have bought toothpaste, a small S and G body butter (in the 1/3 off) and cotton wool.
For each item I use up from my stash I have been putting money into a pot- had £50 saved since Christmas! However, ended up spending this on buying GHDs which are currently on offer for £99. I will also put the rest of the money I save from no toilettries into paying for this.
I was doing so well before this, decided that my GHDs can be my treat at the end of this (only have bought them half way though instead) Lol

That seems perfectly sensible to me Lottie. I wouldn't say that you have fallen off the wagon at all.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0

Is there anybody on this the "no buying toiletries thread" thread who has managed to not buy anything?
Not me. Though I haven't bought loads... I don't thinkmrs-moneypenny wrote: »took my polish off last night nad nails are starting to look a bit discoloured after 4 weeks of constant painting so ive decided once the polish chips it comes off and they get the rest of the week nude with just cuticle cream etc on
I'm using up some french manicure polishes as base coat to help stop my nails staining. I got a set from my cousin, but never do frnech manicures - the nude colours are nice and pale though, so thought they'd work well as base coats, and if i run out of time to do an actual colour, I can just leave my nails a nude colour in the meantime. No staining yet!Yes I did, previous pageI have moved money from my toiletry savings pot back to my current a/c to 'pay' for it, that was painful!
Used up a Botanics Soothing Body Wash, will add £2.50 to the pot as it was part of a gift set in last year's sale. WIBA: yes, it was lovely.
I have definitely spent less than I normally would whilst on the challenge, and am also only buying things that I love, so that's good. AND I haven't spent any skinnies/snowies, whereas before I would have been spending in lots of £5 just to get them and then using up every last one!!! :rotfl:I've also been off chocolate for over a week, so am saving £££s there (and maybe the splurge yesterday filled a gap?). Anyway, just rambling.
No guilt ladies, let's move onwards and upwards!!! :j
Tara, the Body shop seems to be your downfall, but you get such awesome bargains!
I've also definitely spent less since starting this challenge, and have used up way more than I've bought. So I am decluttering, and saving money, which were my two main goals. And as an extra bonus my skin is so much softer and lovely. This is a great challenge!:j:T:j No guilt from me0 -
What clothes did you buy rosemary?
Only 20 lines for you
well as I am on the £100 a year challenge I had to be very careful:(
I bought an East green devore velvet skirt down from £89 to £10(at that price I had to have it:rotfl:) and a yellow top from Marks for the summer(if we ever get 1)and as I had a gift card I only paid £10 towards it so a total of £20 leaving me with £65 for the rest of the year:eek:0 -

maybe, have never tried to sell make up on ebay and feel a bit odd giving freebie as a pressie(I have afriend who often give sme pressies of freebies, trouble is they are usually things that don't suit me),may just keep as spares in a handbag(not even looked at it yet(too busy confesssing on here:rotfl:)0 -

OMG I knew when I looked up prices online there was a 5 at the end ,just rechecked and the sales girl had only charged me for the moisture surge @£30 and not the concealer, another £15:eek::eek::eek:should have been £45 in all, feel a bit bad about it but Debs can afford it and It was not my mistake and would have pointed it out but did not realise with paying by assorted coupons/gift cards.think she was a bit stressed,I stood at the counter(after spending a couple of mins finding what I wanted)and 3 other women behind the counter just ignored me:mad::mad:0
