My hubby has such a hairy chest and belly I refer to him as my teddy bear because it makes him so cuddly :D

see teddy/dog....same thing. :) I'm glad I'm not alone in cuddling a hairy one!

right, so I've been looking and epilators. (I ned the roll eyes smilie). It seems tome as hey aren't so cheap I'm better getting an all singing dancing one so that if I like it I have all the features I might want. They seem to last a good long while...so the Braun silk epil thingy with all the bells and whistles? I like the idea of using it in the shower...for open pores and ease of cleaning.....and it has a different head for ''sensitve'' areas...

it has no reviews, any one used it?

32? is that the one that you spray and any man is sure to chase you up the street trying to give you a bunch of flowers? That advert may be before your time:)

Used to be, now they have The Saturdays (a girlband) advertising it.

Do you mean a cream cleanser which apply and take off with cotton wool? Do I need toner too? (Thanks btw!)

Yes, any cream cleanser would be better than wipes. I like oil cleansers too. I'm using toner because I have loads of it lying around but I'm not certain its essential. In recent times lots of people don't bother with it. I was using Clinique clarifying lotion in place of toner and I will again if ever I finish up the bottles of toner.

I think Mags meant any sort of cleanser - foaming, wash off, creamy etc. Amd I agree with her. Wipes are no good for me, I only use them when there is NO alternative (e.g. festivals). Some people also find them handy for taking off makeup when drunk. :D

What Tara said:). Apparently wipes are the bestselling cleanser but they're not great for skin. If you think about it department store brands Clinique, Clarins, etc don't make face wipes.

I no longer use Boots vouchers to get them. For me it's better to pay a bit extra and get a bottle of cleanser instead. This is why I have so much cleanser. It's cheaper than moisturiser when buying special offers that require a skincare purchase.

And speaking of cleanser I believe Shu Umera cleansing oil is the absolute best but it's very expensive as far as I know and not as readily available as other brands.

My friend has one - she persisted ( I had one - but I lasted about two inches up my leg before I became WAY too sore, big girl that I am !!!) and now doesnt find it too bad at all. Not sure if shes braved the bikini/underarm areas yet though...

I managed to not sin today - My mum needed a new moisturiser - and I wasnt sure about that olay one that Ive got, so I handed her my olay, then went to Boots - bought the s&g Catch a Wrinkle in Time with my points (so zero spend) and gave her the olay....

think that counts as being good still - not only did I not spend any money, but I didnt have any moisturiser cos Id given it to my mum?? !!!

That is hillarious!! Looks like the supermarket got a few of us yesterday with all the different promotions. Darn it!

have applied the nail lacquer and guess what? - yes it's exactly the same as another one that I own! - doh!

Have also just remembered that this morning I finished a pot of Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream - WIBA? Most definitely, this is my HG cream. If they change the formula of this one I will cry. x

True but not if you get them with the Boots No7 vouchers. The best wipes I ever used were the Aldi ones and they are cheap. I would buy them again if I was buying wipes but I still have a few packs from when I used to get them with vouchers.

But from now on I'm using vouchers for things I like instead of the cheapest thing on the shelf for the sake of using the voucher.

    A slightly-more-than-weekly update from me!
I've managed to use up the following:

Waitrose ginger and clementine bath creme. WIBA? Yes, it smells amazing!
Small body shop vanilla shower get. WIBA? Possibly. It's not a smell I use a lot, but was very nice as a change.
Sample of Chanel hydramax+ face moisturiser. WIBA? Well, I didn't buy it to start with, but it smells lovely and felt nice on my face. If it wasn't so expensive, I possibly would.
Sample of Olay touch moisturiser. WIBA? No, it smelt weird and didn't do much for my face either.
Sample of T-zone clear pore fash wash gel. WIBA? No, it was all right, but nothing special.
Sample of Dior Capture Totale face moisturiser. WIBA? Not for me, as it was too rich, but I probably would recommend it for older skins (I'm 35).
Sample of DHC for men (!) face cream. WIBA? It smelt a bit too manly, so no, but I would definitely recommend it, as it was a lovely cream.
Samples (2) of L'Oreal revitalift, one with spf 15. WIBA? No, they were all right, but I didn't really like the smell and they were only "all right".

My stash still hasn't got any smaller, though, as I received a fill size Johnson's holiday skin body lotion to trial for a magazine (gave it ok reviews, will get this out again closer to the summer), and also an unnamed rose facial cleanser, which is called a milk but is much more like a cream in consistency. It actually leaves me skin quite nice after using. Shame I don't know what brand it is, or I could recommend it :)
  • Evening...

Okay slight confession to make - I bought two lots of Clinique makeup remover in Debenhams today, and got the bonus time goodies. Spent £28... but I *do* use this religiously and am close to running out. Ok so I could have just bought one bottle, but I got the freebie (an extra 50ml of makeup remover and the rest I am going to sell) so I don't think I did anything bad. In the long run it's going to work out cheaper than buying two separate bottles...

I went to Bodycare and was soooo tempted by stuff. I needed shampoo and conditioner - was going to treat myself to S&G at Boots but mumsy pointed out a hair treatment that she used to sell in the chemist and it was really popular apparentely... huge tub for 99p so I got that instead. Then got it home and realised the little tab for opening it has broken off so I have no idea how I'm going to open it!

    Off to catch up now...
