I've stayed away from Boots for at last 2 weeks, but apparently the NO7 vouchers are back on Wednesday and I could do with some more tinted moisturiser so may have to call in!
Hi could you not just dilute your normal foundation with some of your moisturiser, avoiding a toiletry spend?
Thanks for that advice. I have just rescued a jar of too dark foundation from the bin and I'm going to try mixing it with moisturiser and see how it looks then.0 -
:rotfl:i've managed to find a helper, just got in with DS and he noticed the footbowl and towel still out so hes asked for a footsoak as well (he has an ingrown toetail) so hes currently sitting with his feet in some warm saltwater mixed with a slug of bodyshop lemon and thyme foot soak - it smells delishSPC~12 ot 124

I haven't posted in a while, but I haven't bought anything or used anything up recently! I have a couple of items that will be gone by the end of the week though...
I keep getting the urge to go and spend money, but keep thinking of the lovely stuff I have at home in my stash and think again (and I have no money until payday)...
I have a friend over from Canada at the moment, so I am going to give her a Ted Baker set that I bought in the Boots 75% off sale and it is another friends birthday so I am going to give her a Botantics set that I also got in the Boots 75% off sale... so that will be two biggish things gone - although I wasn't counting them as part of my stash because they were bought for the purposes of gifts... :AI'm buying No More Toiletries, I'm Deluttering and I'm Losing Weight for 2010!0 -

1 doir nude foundation (free in glamour last month) very impressed as colour was perfect and i put it on in the mornng and it still looked good at night. the sachet lasted 3 uses. dread to think what it costs to buy a bottle0 -

just spend ages on Ebay cos not been able to go out again, bid on some lovely french sheets to make into curtains and a pair of duvet covers, and a tablecloth then I had to look at the jewelry:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:OMG it would be much cheaper to go and buy toiletries:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
soup and home made rolls for tea (on a tray by the fire)as OH gone for a swim so home late.I am going to aqua fit tomorrow (weather permitting ) and hope my arm will cope ,going to paint nails tonight so will look pretty at dance class tomorrow so better get on and do housework now:(0 -
Afternoon everyone, hope your all feeling fine on this freezing Tuesday :j
Tara, well done on the weight loss :T
I'm mega grumpy today but this thread has really cheered me up :rotfl:(thanks Val). My stooooopid dog woke me up at 6:30am barking his head off which is unusual. Turns out it was just a cat that he chased round the garden for a bit. Later he stood on the back on my flip-flop and nearly ripped my foot open when the flip-flop stopped and I didn't
Last night OH went to Asda for the 4 for £3 2x mouthwash and 2x bubblebath... no mouthwash so I ended up with 4x bubblebath :rotfl: So I'll finish the last dregs of the old one later...
It's just started snowing YAY :T Always makes having a bath nicer when it's cold and snowy outside!!
I don't use wipes either, a good wash in the morning with hot water and a flannel then a cold rinse. At night I use a hot flannel first and then cleanser (Clean Mary atm) I use the hot flannel to carefully take off eye makeup because anything else is too harsh on my skin.
How do you all get so many samples of stuff? From mags? I never buy them because I never have time to read them properlyEven if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -

ive started waging war on my sachet stash and have used up 2 moisturisers
1 doir nude foundation (free in glamour last month) very impressed as colour was perfect and i put it on in the mornng and it still looked good at night. the sachet lasted 3 uses. dread to think what it costs to buy a bottle
peppermint foot soak
foot moisturiser
Just got back from parents house where I acquired 10 sample sachets including 6 foundation - 2 of which were the Dior nude (my sister and I both bought copies of Glamour). I'm glad you thought it was good - i'm stocking up on foundation samples in anticipation of my actual foundation running out so I'm not tempted to leg it to the nearest clinique counter... I have so much tinted moisturiser and other stuff that I shouldn't really need to replace it for a while...
I also acquired a few other bits and bobs various family members passed on to me, including:- 2 samples bare minerals powder foundation - never tried it but always wanted to!
- largish sample of smashbox photo finish
- sample of elemis moisturiser
- 2 large samples of Clinique Dram Diff lotion - which i always use, woohoo!
- Protect and Perfect sample (still have 1 in use, 1 in reserve, and a full jar, so won't run out soon...)
- and half a bottle of S&G 'Flirtigo' moisturising mist.

Yes you are, go and sit at the back on your own!!
Of course your not :rotfl: Hey if you can get it for free then thats brilliant. It says nothing about not accepting freebiesAnd some nice freebies you got too
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.0 -
Forgive me MSE for I have sinned again! Not by much though.
OK, I'll do my lines now:-
I will not buy nail lacquer just because I'm throwing a hissy fit as there's no frozen chicken.

:rotfl: But just five? I think you should have to do a line for each penny you spent on toiletries!:rotfl:
