    Evening sparkly ladies!!!

Melonade, I totally agree about the No7 pots, especially the small ones... so awkward! But we *will* get the dregs out if it kills us! :rotfl:

    <SNIP>

Yikes, Bronnie, you don't use eye cream??? Do you take your moisturiser up to your eye socket, or just leave it unmoisturised?

LOL - those small No7 pots are a pain - it's impossible to get the cream out without getting it under your fingernail, then when you get to the end you need double jointed fingers to get the last out!

Oh, and another one here who doesn't use eye cream. I've bought so many of them in the past and never finished them, and to be honest I've never really noticed any difference when using them anyway. I usually take a little bit of regular moisturiser over the eye area.

I can recommend the No7 MEN's facial scrub. I've used my bf's a few times when I've been at his house (I gave it to him!), and it is very good. I actually like it better than the No7 women's one I've tried. It is very scrubby.

Alternatively, I also love the Clinique 7-day scrub cream, rinse off formula. It's the first facial scrub I tried, but I still love it and compare every other facial scrub to it. I still haven't found a better one!

I love the 7-day scrub too. I have a mini one which I'm saving to take on holiday with me. I've got a Boots Expert one to try next - I like most of the stuff from that range so fingers crossed it'll be decent.

LOL Yes it helped thanks :T

I was tempted by the Aldi day cream too but it only had a spf4 so decided against it. But my tinited moistoriser has a spf15 so I could of got OH to get it anyway ;) Does anyone else moistorise befor applying tinted moistoriser?

If I remember, I leave moisturiser off if I'm going to use tinted moisturiser as using both tends to leave my face looking a bit shiny. I generally go for serum, then the Tinted moisturiser straight on top.

    Happy Birthday Rebecca!!!

Ok - I give up. What on earth do you do with moisturising gloves?? Im kinda feeling that Im missing out on something great and I should have a pair....
    trudij wrote: »
coolio - thanks for that !!!!

may well have found where to spend my points.... ( NO !!!!!)

Don't spend the points on the gloves. Buy something else for £5 from Wednesday onwards and get the gloves almost for free with the No7 voucher. I have seen similar gloves in Tesco and S+G had a pretty pink pair in the manicure tin before Christmas (which unfortunately I didn't get--couldn't afford everything I liked the look of so close to Christmas).

I can't decide how to cleanse my face at night - I use a face wash in the shower in the morning (currently clean mary) and at night usually use simple eye make up remover (wear contact lenses and my mum has lots of eye problems so I'm very careful with my eyes) and then use wipes but I'm yet to find wipes I really get on with or a cleanser for that matter - any suggestions?

Wipes don't cleanse your skin properly especially if you wear a lot of make up. They are handy if you are away from home and I have a pack by the bed as they are better than not taking the make-up off at all but you should use a proper cleanser most of the time.

Just editting to add that I am also having trouble drinking enough water :o I love tea though lol. I only drink maybe 1 glass of water a day compared to probably 6-8 cups of tea... ooops!! A few years ago I gave up drinking tea or juice or anyting except water. I filled a 2 litre bottle every morning and made a point of drinking it through the day. The difference in my skin was amazing. Even the whites of my eyes were whiter, I think if I'd of stopped smoking back then maybe they would of been perfectly white. I was getting a solid 7 hours minimum sleep a night too and I know how the experts bang on about water/sleep/diet but it really is true. I'm sat here now thinking I should practice waht I preach... big bottle of water for me tomorrow :rotfl:GAWD I need a wee already and I only just thought of it :o

Have you tried decaf tea? I started drinking it during my numerous pregnancies and now find normal tea quite strong and it gives me a headache it i have more than 2-3 cups. Also ive recommended it before, fennel tea tastes great and a good alternative to fruit tea plus its great for cleansing digestive system and its an appetite suppressant too. I too have problems drinking enough water too.

Seriously, does anyone not put their moisturiser up to their eyelashes? I have highly feelable eye sockets and I don't bother with separate eye creams- mind you, I work nights so I lok like an old hag most of the time anyhoo!
Rightyho, off to bed now, I can hear the cat waiting for me to go to bed (she gets INTO bed when I'm not at work but not unti I'm in and only on my side of the bed) and she's obviously tired cause she came down to find me!

Ive never used a seperate eye cream, i always thought they were just anither way for cosmetic companies too get us to spend more. Im gonna be 36 and my eyes look good i think? Should i be buying seperate?
Ooops sorry guys I was away for the weekend and have no chance of ever catching up on the thread so will have to just start again fresh :)

A minor slip on the way back, bought a mini deoderant at the airport (99p) alas this was unavoidable for TMI reasons :D

Actually I'm pleased with myself I didn't buy more, I was really tempted by various things - you know that 'I deserve a treat' thing - and I didn't buy anything cosmetic-y nor did I give in on my lenten 'no sweets' pledge

Off to polish my halo :j

Am I the only person who things I see a difference with a good eye cream? I've tried loads I don't think do, and also...I think i'm not the best tester, I have just the whisper of wrinkles yet to really be too impressive to anyone but myself around my eyes ...but I do notice a difference..

I've stayed away from Boots for at last 2 weeks, but apparently the NO7 vouchers are back on Wednesday and I could do with some more tinted moisturiser so may have to call in! Happy birthday Rebecca.
Hi could you not just dilute your normal foundation with some of your moisturiser, avoiding a toiletry spend?

I've decided to part with my dior and benefit collection(well some of it) .I was/am a sucker for nice packaging and used to get tempted easily.I had a rummage through my dressing table today and found products that I bought but have not used -products that look pretty.I think I can live without a dior compact staring at me from my dressing table, and I have benefit items I haven't used so they can be ebayed too.I am also going to ebay a couple of perfumes I don't use/haven't opened.I really want to buy myself the flora by gucci giftset but only if I can make enough for it( £35) through ebay.
This is beautiful and i do spray it on all over when i pass it at perfume counters:o
I'm currently using something called 'Sekkisei emulsion' (that is actually its name :D sexy emulsion... yeah I know, simple things please simple minds!) by a Japanese brand called Kose. I googled it as it seemed pretty good and my jaw dropped when I saw the price of it  I also have some
Ooh tell me more, the japanese tend to look really young, have you knocked a couple of years off yet:D.

Happy birthday Rebecca b and welcome nova girl
