No buying toiletries in February challenge!

YOU DON'T NEED IT, SO DON'T BUY IT!
There, has that helped?!
P.S. Please let me know what the Aldi stuff is like as I might replace mine with same when it's gone: I've heard good things about some of their range.
I think all the aldi creams are brilliant but none have an spf so I don't buy them anymore:)0 -

I almost had a moment of weakness earlier but I resisted. I really want to repurchase my favourite Biotherm eye cream but £24.00 feels like a lot to pay... even though I've been using it for a couple of years now and not found anything as good, and the 15ml dispenser usually lasts me about 2-3 months. Might just be me going insane but I think I can actually see the difference since I stopped using it. Decisions, decisions...
oh you should buy it then. If you can get 3 months out of it and you really think it makes a difference to your eyes you should definitely buy it.
I will say that I am having a worry about the wrinkles around my eyes type of day so you might want to await a second more rational opinion:o0 -

**Rebecca Bloomwood's weekly update**
This week I managed to use up my Alberto Balsam tropical vanilla kids' two in one shampoo and conditioner. This was due to me having to wash my hair six times yesterday, because I'd just got back from staying at my parents' house, and they smoke.
I also used a Lush Space Girl bath ballistic but that wasn't mine. My brother's GF showed me her shoeboxes full of ballistics and bubble bars and told me to help myself. I left her an IOU, next time I'm at my parents' house I'll bring an unwanted product with me to pay her back.
I've decided that S&G's The Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser is not good for my skin. The areas of my face with big pores and blackheads have grown, and now almost my entire face is covered. But I do like the Fab Pore facial peel mask.
Other stuff out of my life:
I've put some Lush stuff on ebay! I love Lush in general, but I'd rather just use the products I love than go through ones I'm not that keen on just because they were free in my grab bag. I already have bids, which is great!
New stuff:
I received a Lush Baby face cleanser from my brother's GF because she didn't like it. I'll use this for a while instead of the S&G but it will probably be just as bad.
It's my birthday today :j (21!) so I get to use all my best toiletries today! And I get to open my birthday box of Lush which I wrapped up last month.:D
Have a good week everyone and keep up the good work!
Happy 21st Birthday.
Wishing you all that is good xxx0 -

This made me giggle so much on so many levels.

I love Biotherm... my guilty pleasure. If my mum knew how much I spent on it she'd blow a fuse (not that it's her money I'm spending!) as I used to lecture her on spending a lot on lotions and potions when I was in my teens, so now she just sticks to a basic moisturiser - though she used to buy Loreal and she did agreed that it wasn't doing anything for her.
So, I'm a hypocritethat, and I've started to notice fine lines appearing in the past year - nothing major, but enough to worry me.

Even better, and refreshingly unpractical:rotfl:0 -
Well I took a cleanser and toner back to boots on Friday night that I hadn't got on with at all and swapped for soap and glory day and night moisturisers - so now I'm not just on serum Tara
- I know I shouldn't but I ran out of moisturiser - miracle
Also got a big pot of flake away as I only have one mini pot and a bit left in another left and so would have bought one in the next couple of weeks anyway better to get it at 1/3 off.
Finally got 2 packs of boots essentials face wipes on bogof but I don't like them - they go dry really quickly
With the exchange I had about £6 to pay, all off my giftcard so all money made so no actual money spent :AInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Yorkielass, glad to hear you got some moisturiser and well done on the zero spend! It's also good that you exchanged something you don't like for something you do. Did they let you take back the stuff even though it was opened and what reason did you give? I have a couple of products I don't like but haven't brought them back yet as the SAs in my local are queens of mean.
Shame about the wipes. I don't like face wipes at all and only use them for festivals etc when there is no alternative.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
