I'm glad you have posted about the S&G hot cloth cleanser. I've been using LE C&P for years but now that the formula's changed it's not suiting me. Unfortunately I have a stockpile of it to use up first and the S&G one was a candidate to replace it along with A'Kin which has also been recommended to me. What skin type are you?
My skin type is oily and I have a major blackhead problem on my cheeks, nose and the middle of my forehead. My pores are huge. I thought the Fab Pore stuff would be perfect but it just made my skin worseIf you want to try the S&G before buying it I could send you a generous sample of mine if you like? PM me if you're interested

I've just popped my 'Clean Mary' into my schoolbag. Going to give it to a girl in Uni who loves it. I just cannot get along with it, my skin is usually resilient to anything I put on it, but I don't know what on earth is in that stuff but it just dries it out like nothing else.
I have been using L'Oreal's self heating rejuvenating scrub wash which is FANTASTIC stuff.
Sympathies to all the ladies with pore problems. I have always suffered with large pores. I find using Benefit's Dr Feelgood under your make up helps to disguise them and give you a smoother looking surface. I have noticed them tightening up with age though. I was a greasy spotty teenager, the benefit of which I am seeing now as I have no wrinkles/fine lines at all (I'm 36). I even got asked for ID in M&S before Christmas! So all you young ones with greasy/oily skin, it will one day pay off (I know it's not nice at the time).
I've used up the last of my Sanctuary Spa Essentials body lotion, it's making my skin feel all warm and tingly, just as well as I'm about to brave the hour long journey to Uni and it's looking mighty cold out there!! I could be VERY tempted to pop into Boots to buy more but I shall be strong.
Looks like my points will be used up this weekend in Boots as DD's straighteners blew up last night and she just CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM!! I honestly thought she was going to stay off school today it was such a trauma!! ha ha. I've got over £100 in points so I suppose using them on that will stop me spending them on stuff I don't need.
Have a good Monday girlies, and keep up the good work!mrs-moneypenny wrote: »Eklynne i hope you are happier with your hair now youve a few days to get used to it.Come ride with me, through the veins of history...

_party_ Happy Birthday Rebecca!
I'm PYNM blue today. I'm so sick of Candyfloss Liplicious! It is the last one (I used to have several) and I've hardly worn any other colour since the start of the year - just want it finished with now. Thank goodness it has been discontinued :rotfl:0 -
Seriously, does anyone not put their moisturiser up to their eyelashes? I have highly feelable eye sockets and I don't bother with separate eye creams- mind you, I work nights so I lok like an old hag most of the time anyhoo!
No, I always use separate eye cream and dot it around the socket above and below with my ring finger.RebeccaBloomwood wrote: »It's my birthday today :j (21!) so I get to use all my best toiletries today! And I get to open my birthday box of Lush which I wrapped up last month.:D
Have a good week everyone and keep up the good work!
Happy 21st Rebecca!!!!! :bdaycake:Good Morning All
I bought a Sanctuary Mandelular Body Souffle yesterday! With vouchers from Xmas so not too much damage BUT I had never even heard of it till I started this challenge!!! You are leading me astray - I have loads of lotions and potions to use up first!!!

OK, no one tell me not to go now, I've bought a ticket. I will however seek to avoid the £20 voucher if you spend over £100....0 -
Thanks, that's sweet of you.
It's taken me a couple of hours this evening to catch up with all the posts though!
I had a bit of a wobble a week ago when I found a load of reduced toiletries in Waitrose. However, I knew I didn't need anything, so I pulled myself together and resisted. It was so difficult, I just don't know what it is about reduced items that I find so alluring? Also I feel I must post this as nobody else around me (especially OH) appreciates what a big deal it is - I went to Sidmouth yesterday where there is a relatively large Boots and I didn't even go inside. This is such a big change for me..... I just know that there are lots of you here who will understand.
You are doing fantastically well Babafette. I don't think I would have been able to resist the reduced Waitrose stuff or at least a walk around Boots. :A0 -
mimeallmine, so sorry to hear about your friend
Not sure what else to say... be as strong as you can for your friend and of course for yourself.
I've scraped the dregs from my No7 night cream so thats now gone. I even managed to get cramp in my little finger lol... why make the pot a silly shape? My OH bought me the Aldi night cream earlier this afternoon so I've got that on my neck atm. Not sure what to make of it yet but it feels ok
I've somehow talked myself into needing a foundation brush even though I don't wear foundation... am now in the stage of convincing myself I need it to apply tinted moisteriserNot quite sure whats wrong with me lately, even after I've realised I don't need something I just get the "but I want it" thing going on!!! I'm like a spoilt kid today (but I haven't bought anything yet) and maybe need a slap upside the head!!! Deffo need to get my priorities straight!!
Just editting to add that I am also having trouble drinking enough waterI love tea though lol. I only drink maybe 1 glass of water a day compared to probably 6-8 cups of tea... ooops!! A few years ago I gave up drinking tea or juice or anyting except water. I filled a 2 litre bottle every morning and made a point of drinking it through the day. The difference in my skin was amazing. Even the whites of my eyes were whiter, I think if I'd of stopped smoking back then maybe they would of been perfectly white. I was getting a solid 7 hours minimum sleep a night too and I know how the experts bang on about water/sleep/diet but it really is true. I'm sat here now thinking I should practice waht I preach... big bottle of water for me tomorrow :rotfl:GAWD I need a wee already and I only just thought of it
I so identify with every word of this post right down to needind a wee just thinking about water:)0
