    I've been Money Tipped!
I've suddenly got a lot paler...and I'm pretty pale anyway...I think I need a new foundation to account for this. But its only a few weeks till the weather should get better and I'll get a little less pale again....

    what to do?
  • I've stayed away from Boots for at last 2 weeks, but apparently the NO7 vouchers are back on Wednesday and I could do with some more tinted moisturiser so may have to call in! Happy birthday Rebecca.
  • Hello, I am new here:) Find this thread fascinating, but waaay too long =)) can anyone please sum it up for me in a few words, how is it possible to live without buying toiletries for a whole month? =)

Rub your cheeks or start working nights?

Happy birthday Rebecca Bloomwood. 21 Seems like a long time ago for me!

I also have problems with blackheads and blocked large pores. I'm finding that I'm really liking the Olay regenerist cleansers. I have a heating one that I use less than daily (3 days usually) and I use the other one every evening after my makeup comes off.

I noticed last night that my small tube of Clinique moisturiser is almost finished, so had a rummage around in the "Creams" basket, and there was no moisturiser left:eek:. Whats a girl to do? I will have to make a trip to Boots, can I be trusted!

do you have to buy clinique??? at the mo their own brand expert range is 2 for £4 - i got a serum (£4.99) which is quite nice (tho not as smooth as P&P) and a night cream (£3.99) the other day...........
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:

Not used anything today but did give my Nan a small tube of that P&P serum stuff, she was pretty pleased. A few years ago when it was new out she treated us both to a tube each and I was mega chuffed to bits. I phoned her the next day to see what she thought of it, her reply was "It's ok, £17 is a bit of a waste of money though and it takes a while to soak in" err ok I thinks!! She'd used the whole lot in one go lol but did say her skin was very soft. This time I reminded her she'd get a good few goes out of this little tube :T She's nuts :p
I don't know, I'm often wearing them with high heels.....:o

    hehe :rotfl:ooh lala
I love Biotherm... my guilty pleasure.

OMG I want this biotherm stuff, that I haven't ever seen before or even googled yet :o The Simple eye balm shnizz I'm using atm is ok but this stuff sounds good...better...brilliant. OMG someone stop me :o

No need to use words at all, check back through this thread and you'll just have to look at some of the pics lol.

Not painting my nails today because they still haven't grown back from me biting them off last week, oh well might do my toes instead in a sparkly pink No7 stuff I got free. I think it's called Milan, either that or it's not for resale in Milan... who knows? Not me but it's quite pretty :D

Yorkielass, glad to hear you got some moisturiser and well done on the zero spend! It's also good that you exchanged something you don't like for something you do. Did they let you take back the stuff even though it was opened and what reason did you give? I have a couple of products I don't like but haven't brought them back yet as the SAs in my local are queens of mean.

Shame about the wipes. I don't like face wipes at all and only use them for festivals etc when there is no alternative.

This was a No7 cleanser and toner that after using several times they really stung, and they were big bottles. I just said I'd had a reaction when using them and they let me exchange no problem.

If you take back with the receipt they will refund products you've had a reaction too etc (or changed your mind if still sealed) and with no receipt they'll exchange Boots products.

It's in their interest really - I would never have bought the cleanser and toner again but if I get on with the S&G creams I'll keep buying them from them!

I can't decide how to cleanse my face at night - I use a face wash in the shower in the morning (currently clean mary) and at night usually use simple eye make up remover (wear contact lenses and my mum has lots of eye problems so I'm very careful with my eyes) and then use wipes but I'm yet to find wipes I really get on with or a cleanser for that matter - any suggestions?

  • i like the Boots NO 7 wipes. They are £6.50 but only £1.50 with the No.7 voucher that's out this week. They are nice big thick wipes and good at taking off eye makeup.
