  • Many lipsticks are really moisturising...I some times use them when I can't find what I really want when going out side as a barrier. Some are really drying though.

Lipstick is something I don't really know much about. I bought a MAC one and although I liked the colour, it was super drying. I've also tried Rimmel and Revlon and they did the same, made my lips all shrivelled and lines accentuated. The only one I use (rarely) is one by Avon but it's more of a coloured lipbalm than a lipstick.

I'd love to know which lipstick brands people use/can recommend.

Argh- just found another WHITE hair. It seems I am avoiding going grey and just going white instead. I'm only 31 :(

You're lucky you got to 31... I'm 10 years younger than you and I've had them since my teens. I also have black hair so they really do stand out :(

lthough I don't like Clinique for much they do good reliable lipstick, its somewhere I always start.

I had an amazing ultima lipstick that was like a lip treatment, but my dogs chewed it. I don't know where to replace...

My dior lipstick is also not drying.

I resisted buying a bargainous benefit touch me then try to leave cream from Tk maxx today-it was £4.99.I'm good.
Haven't really used anything up today but only have about a weeks worth of max factor pressed powder left but am hoping maxfactor might have a gwp offer soon so I can stock up-I always find the gwp has useful usable products.
1 essential I will have to buy is bio oil for my tum-It's expensive in boots but home bargains are selling it for £4.99-is superdrug cheaper?
    Love can tame the wildest
  • Hi, completely lost, ive just started using an Elizabeth Arden ceramide plump listick and must say my lips look like they have been inflated when i put it on (in a nice way) so would recommend that. I tend to wear lipgloss and have found that Revlon mineral glaze is fantastic, not sticky and leaves a pretty stain on your lips when you have licked/ eaten it away. It is quite long lasting hth.

    xx

Thank you dahling, but I've got to go and smell it first!

Actually looking forward to going round the shops seeking out my perfect body butter on Saturday. I want to buy the Dove Pro-Age one, because I reckon it will do a fabby job, but part of me wants something indulgent, prettily-perfumed and a bit less day-to-day-practical too. But I think I will seek out that one and put it on my wishlist to look forward too.

Such restraint! I love delicious anticipation; it makes what you're waiting for soooooooo much more pleasurable when you finally get it .......IYKWIM ladies!! :p;):o

    Congrats on the restraint!!! :T:T

Get the Bio Oil in HB would be my advice, that's very cheap. What size bottle? Rescue Oil does the exact same job imho (if you can find it cheaper).

    Hiya
At last I feel I am at last making a bit of a dent in my stash. Have used up a hand wash, Molton Brown rose granti WIBA yes beautiful scent got just a drop of the hand cream. Finished a body lotion super size L'Occitane Verbina lasts for such a long time it was well worth the price. While at work finished a Dior hand cream=got it for a birthday pressie, lovely but I dont think its worth the money. I do like to have 'treats' at work as it helps to get through the day sometimes.

Enough of my chatter am off to catch up with all the posts and whats been happening for you all over the last few days.:A I'm a noisey old whatits some times.:)
