Anyway, can I ask what is "dandellion"? I hear you ladies talk about it, but have no idea what it is!!
Its a benefit face powder/blusher. Its very light and fairly pale, and so suits even winter skin. Its a great shade for daytime/not looking too made up but looking healthy. I used it most in the colder half of the year.

Forgot to mention, did paint my short-but-growing-out-again nails on Monday using my old but still useable Boots Natural Collection Fragranced polish in pink. I'm surprised they haven't chipped yet as the polish isn't the best by a long shot. Not crazy about the colour but one of a few I'm determined to use up

I'm glad you had a nice day with your friends Vicster, but sorry you were sad after they'd gone. I keep looking at the E.L.F. site myself - I want to try a foundation brush as I've heard so many people now saying how good they are.....they seem to be out of stock at the moment though. There are a few things I've got my eye on on there but I'll bide my time until everything I want is in stock I think. :T
Just catching up... M&S do a really good foundation brush. I read it in a review (somewhere) and bought it. Think it was about £8. It's really good quality. :A

I've got too S&G scrubs ATM, the one I'm using now is ''The scrub of your life''. Its....ok. I think the other is called Flake Away? I much prefer that...feels, more heavy duty! The scrub of your life is gentler, and it does smell nice, but I like a scrub that scrubs IYKWIM. Also its in a tube, and I think I prefer tubs.

All in all, although its not a horrid product I'll be pleased to use this up. To be very fair, it has lasted a good length of time, and its better value than a tub certainly.

Me too, i dont like lipsticks. What can i use them for instead?

could they be used as cream blusher?
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*

Yep, I know a lot of people do that. I've never been much of a lipstick fan tbh, I find a lot of them are drying.

I'm not really tempted to order anyway as it seems pointless to pay £2.95 delivery for a £3.50 lipstick, and I can't afford to order £30's worth for free delivery.

Many lipsticks are really moisturising...I some times use them when I can't find what I really want when going out side as a barrier. Some are really drying though.

yes, using them as a blusher works, or as a very faint rub, almost like a tint, rather than slicked on. to do this tap the lipstick over the lips then go back over tapping with your fingers. This with th same lipstick used as a blush can look very good IMO.

I used to love the Planet Spa brown sugar scrub. Have now converted to Soap and Glory Spa sugar scrub which has lime oil in it and is yummy and citrussy. x

I've got the Planet Spa one on the go at the moment - it's really lovely isn't it. I reckon I've got about one more "helping" before I finish it. I've got several more scrubs to go through before I need to think about buying another product of this type though.
right I've got 2 tubes of daily smooth (250ml) and 2 tubes of butter up (200ml)

I've also got a bodyshop almond body butter, a no7 body moisteriser, a burts bees one and a mini fcuk body lotion...plus I've recently opened a brazil nut body butter form the body shop.

So I really don't need any more right now...plus the only one I really like is the daily smooth, the original pink one is too sweet and the butter up is ok but I wouldn't buy it again once I've used it. So out of 3 products I'd actually only buy one of them, so there is no point in buying the set for £9 something.

Anyway that's me having given myself a logical talking to and I now feel a it calmer about the whole thing :T:rotfl:

Good for you for dissecting it all logically QoNMW - and remember, this doesn't look like a limited offer so I'm sure it will still be about once you DO need some more. In fact, by that time they'll probably be doing the individual products separately rather than just as part of the set, so you may yet be able to get the Daily Smooth in the tub without having to get the others you don't like so much.

I'm avoiding lipstick like the plague at the moment as I have a seriously dry patch on my lower lip that I need to get dealt with. I've been using Carmex on it in place of lipstick or gloss and I think it's improving.

Clarins,if you buy the full price stuff(as oppossed to the things that have been around a bit and cheaper on most online beauty sites)sign up to Clarins, they often have free delivery over a certain amount and free samples and gifts.I bought an eye pencil with free delivery which came beautifully wrapped in a large box with a free cream,2 samples and a bag wihich is great to put shoes in a case when travelling
    :whistle::whistle::whistle:
Um, oh dear... I succumbed yesterday to a Clarins offer in John Lewis. In fairness I have turned my nose up with other offers but this was a good one. The 4 free products were 30ml each for moisturiser. So the little b*ggar that I am bought:

:Dcleanser (ok as I have one in use and no stash)
:oclarins perfume (mmm I now have 3 perfumes in use, is that reasonable? I have 2 body sprays I must use up)
:Dbronzer (ok as my old one, also Clarins is VERY old, it has old packaging!)

So the buys were not that bad. The freebies have added to my stash though:
:o4 moisturisers (mmm I must make a concerted effort to use moisturiser morning and evening).
:Da mini cleanser and toner set - actually will put this away now for holidays.

:AI resisted getting the Benefit gleam/beam (cannot remember whats its called). Thought no, I'll get that when there's an offer with points or something.
:AI didn't buy Aveda shampoo and conditioner. They are really expensive (about £20 a pop) but will have to be a longer for purchase. I have other shampoos and that which are ok.
:AI resisted buying some cheapie make-up while I was out as I had nothing on, so was going to get some foundation and thought no I have bottles of the stuff at home.

So thank you for keeping me on the straight and nearly narrow!:A
