  • Hello all, hope your ok, was really good today and again no toiletry spend and ive almost finished a body butter too. Its shameful how healthy my bank balance looks since ive started this challenge and im saving too:eek:. I normally put aside a sum of money every month to pay for my car tax (due march) and car insurance (due oct) so ican pay it in a lump sum when its due (avoid monthly payments as they work out really expensive) and ive already collected both lots of money. So any spare each month now until oct can go in the house saving pot:T. Its shocking how much ive spent on toiletries etc. Does help that ds2 too is potty training though as he just has a nappy for bed now.
But still im tempted by the coco chanel, as i have a gift card too :o.

Tara i love the necklace you posted a pic of yesterday, was wondering if either yourself or somebody else could help me pls?
I love the jewellery that billi piper weras in Secret diary oalcg. Especially the big pearl necklace with aged gold, have tried googling to no avail, does anyone know which brand it is at all pls. Tia

    So did you like it?????
Forgot to mention i shampooed my hair twice today because I'd put a new bottle of shampoo in the bathroom because the old one has nearly run out, well in the shower this morning I grabbed the old shampoo and washed, then grabbed the new shampoo (thinking it was the conditioner) and washed! Hair has never been so clean!

I always shampoo mine at least twice! Maybe I shampoo too much... :o

Go for the Coco Chanel if you love it, better that than wasting your gift card on a load of 'bargain buys' that you don't really like!!!

I can't help with the jewellery query though, I don't watch that show. Sorry! But it does sound lovely. :) Hope someone else can help, try the fashionista thread too.

Do you really need it now? Will your stash last until the S&g comes back on offer. If your really desperate, why not wrap up the body butters you have in pretty paper (left over valentines stuff to be mse) and open it up the next day as a present to your self:D:rotfl:Idiotic i know but it may work??:o

Depends on the definition of need - Ive only got the ones (if there are any!) in my hatboxes, which Im still not sure about keeping (apart from one - and arent most of the contents tiny size??) and about a fifth of a Righteous Butter Lite.... and no more body moisturiser at all

p.s. the hatboxes have 2 full sized body butters (Daily Smooth and Butter Up).

Gonna hang my head in shame and confess that I have bought some new make up. Bought a three piece Laura Geller set from QVC on Sunday (was my birthday!). The set contains Blush N Brighten in Apricot Berry (I already have BNB in Sandswept and was concerned that they may be similar but they're not. AB is more plummy and Sandswept more bronzey), eyeshadow in Praline and lipgloss in Tropical. In fairness I don't own many eyeshadows and certainly not this kind of shimmery brown and as the lipgloss is not very shimmery it's not like any of my others. Am I excused?? xx
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Yes, I just love it. Wish it was in a tub though.

Girls, I have some big news... I am selling my spare hatbox!! I ummed and ahhed about it for ages but I have decided to do it!!!!!! I am a little bit sad but just focusing on the extra space I will have, and the money I'll get for it.

I know that selling each item individually would make me more money, hmmm maybe I *should* do that...
