Oh my, thank you so much! Are you sure? That is very kind of you.
We have lots of generous people here and on fashionisti thread. Makes me feel very humble to know such kind people.
  • Went into town and avoided all toiletries and cosmetics, but bought a cultery drawer to organised some of my makeup, as mentioned by someone on this thread.
  • Hiya ladies,

Very pleased to say that I fnished the No7 hand cream, its so greasy...I ended up doing what one of you ladies suggested, and used it on my feet.

Have had fun sorting out my stash again this afternoon, so have added some clearer piccies...It looks more in the cupboard, then it did out on the bad in its "catergories", or maybe I'm just kidding myself!!

Yes, I just love it. Wish it was in a tub though.

Girls, I have some big news... I am selling my spare hatbox!! I ummed and ahhed about it for ages but I have decided to do it!!!!!! I am a little bit sad but just focusing on the extra space I will have, and the money I'll get for it.

I know that selling each item individually would make me more money, hmmm maybe I *should* do that...

I sold a few bits from my hatbox and got £2.70 for the hair supply plus £2.50 postage, the lip gloss went for £3 plus £2 postage, I guess it depends whether you can be bothered to list it all, plus I had to relist my hair supply 3 times before it sold x
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

OMG, I actually caught up! I haven’t been near this thread (or really any of these forums!) for about 3 weeks. Any time I did drop by I looked at the thread and couldn’t bring myself to open it, I was so scared about how much everyone posts!

Now, I didn’t disappear because I fell off the wagon and couldn’t face confessing – I haven’t actually bought anything! I’ve just been too busy with work/life to really goet on here. The plus side is I’ve also been too busy to shop, which is the real reason I haven’t bought any new toiletries, not new found self restraint :rotfl:

Anyway, a quick update on what I’ve finished since I last posted:
1 x body shop body butter – almond, loved it! Am now on a cocoa one, and while it works just as well, I don’t like the smell that much L
    2 x shampoo
1 x lush conditioner – not impressed by this, very glad it’s gone! Just didn’t really seem to condition at all. Think it was “Retread”.
    1 x small No.7 face scrub
    1 x hair colour
    1 x hair serum

I did get the 2 dove deo from boots for free though – so I didn’t spend anything, and I was about to run out of deo, so I don’t feel too guilty :A

Some comments from the millions of posts I’ve read over the past couple of days – no idea who said what now!
    • Epilators – great! I love mine, has made all the difference to my legs. Haven’t tried on my underarams yet, but have been meaning to for a while…
    • Clinique – dramatically different gel. My Mum uses the gel and loves it, I prefer the lotion. But we both think it’s awesome  Leaves my skin perfectly moisturised, but not too oily.
    • A few people were talking about discontinued items they loved, which reminded me of an old botanics intensive conditioner – it was in a big tub, possibly called hair silk, and the best I’ve ever tried, but haven’t seen it for years. Last time I did I got 3 tubs half price (£2.50!), and they got used very quickly :) I really miss that :(
Ok, here’s hoping I can keep on top of all this from now on. It’s been great reading through everything and seeing the photos of stashes. I’ll try and post mine sometime soon if I can find time to pull it all out from various areas of house :o

Btw, I’m currently using Clinique Water therapy hand cream – I’m just not sure about it. It was part of a Bonus time freebie, and I have another larger one waiting for me to finish it. I don’t like it that much when I put it on, as it takes a while to sink in, and smells a little odd. But once it has sunk in my hands feel soooooo soft and smooth. I just can’t make up my mind on it!

Anyway, happy birthday and big hugs as appropriate to everyone, and a massive :T:j:T to salesaddict – I’m so impressed and inspired by you reading back over the posts I missed!
  • Wow, mandymoomoo, you have lots of lovely things in your stash! :)

Now, this isn't strictly relevant to the thread but if any of you beauty product junkies are also cleaning product junkies (I seem to remember there's a few on here ;) ), there's several thousand bottles of Ariel up for grabs on the Freebies Board (you need to fill in a short qualifying survey):

I'm loving your pics:)Nosey question---why do you have Tesco value face wipes? Are they really good or something? It's just that they don't really fit with the rest of your items which are much more glamorous.

Is the greasy No7 handcream the P+P one? If yes it's a little expensive so can I suggest using it overnight with the No7 cotton gloves. It might work miracles:)
I had to relist my hair supply 3 times before it sold x

Is this possibly because Soap + Glory products are heavy so when the postage is added on they are no cheaper than buying in Boots. So only people who don't have a local Boots or who can't get to the shops would bid.
