HPI, AA, RAC all offer a guarantee. Cheap text checks are a waste of money.

How do I check the damage incurred on a car. I'm thinking of buying a CAT D car but it depends what damage was done to the car? The dealer selling doesn't know the answer to the damage! He said over the phone. The front looks repainted. But I'd like more info than that.0

No hpi check will give you details of a claim but some will at least give you the date and write off category cheap. Try car check uk. from the date I was able to see if it was written off by the current owner. If. It was the owner before then they should appear on the logbook and you can get in touch and see if they can tell you what the damage was. Hope it helps0
