Morning all

Happy birthday N9eav.

Poor DS, Bitsy I hope you do find him. My DD2 has had 'Polo', since birth and although she doesn't bother with him now, he's still her favourite bear, and during her younger childhood, if ever Polo was missing, she was distraught. Thankfully, he never got lost for good.

Are you ok, anguk? Have been keeping you in my thoughts.

I still have a rotten sore throat and my sinuses were quite blocked all night, so I used some crystal menthol, which has cleared the blockage for now, but my eyes are streaming

I hate being ill. Plus, every time I cough, it hurts my back.

I've got another hospital appointment on Wednesday, so I'm hoping it clears by then, as I wouldn't want to carry my germs into there of all places.

DDs have fencing and kick-boxing today, so need to get them up and sorted out.

I need to get a couple of plastic boxes to store some of the stuff I've been sorting out. I have too much stuff and goodness knows what I will do with it all once we move to a smaller place :eek:

I've also got some cheques to go into the bank, so really need to find some extra energy from somewhere.

Off work, Feeling vile, as every time I start coughing, I throw up. Cover work has been sent, cat has been fed, off to wake DH in a minute. Once he emerges, I'm off to bed again.

Off to visit relies today with DB visiting from Oz

Definitely going to buy a crochet hook today. Haven't a clue how to crochet but determined to learn:p

Dinner tonight is home made chilli out of the freezer it's soo cold here we all need warming up.

Just going to ring DD as she has been so poorly with a bad cold and then food poisoning on top and she starts a new job tomorrow so hoping she feels much better.

Bitsy hugs to DS for the missing bear, I take it that it never affected his sleep - if I had been you, I'd have been waiting for a no-sleep night!

anguk I've been keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you're OK.

All this mention of haircuts has me thinking. I have pretty long hair, and have these visions/dreams of flowing "hollywood" style hair, with waves in all the right places, but it's just so thick, and I don't have the patience for curling etc. I don't want to get it cut short, but I really need to do something with it. Hmmm

I will not be surfing after this today, except for a HHC or two on the Flylady thread, as I must get loadsa of stuff done this week. No excuses. I need to get my mealplan finished, do some baking, and cooking for the freezer. As well as Spring Cleaning the house - well after a fashion.

Not a good night for DH as his leg was agony. I've come down with a cold so we're a grumpy pair this morning:D
This evening I'm off to the docs for the dreaded Mirena appointment:eek::D

Have just checked the bank online and its not good news_pale_ not sure how we'll get through this month with DH ill but at least the cupboards are full.
serious belt tightening needed here.

OSiness today - try and have a no spend day. need to do a menu plan later from what we've got in stock. washing to do. general cleaning and tidying.

must go and do something now. Hope you are all nice and warm and please watch the roads as they are very icy here! x

Good morning all and Happy Birthday to Neav9,you share a birthday with my sis-in-law Val whose birthday it is also today.She will be up to her eyes in it today as she is having her kitchen ripped out ,I bought her a slow cooker for her birthday so she can do herself something as she won't have a cooker for around two weeks as her kitchen is to be completely gutted down to the brickwork.I also popped a bottle of gin in for her to keep her spirits up.Her DD has just moved to her new house with the DGC so she will be feeling a bit bereft this week.
I am still hacking away at my little study and have a tip run to do today with shelves and drawers from the old unit.I must say I prefer my computer where it is as I can see the screen a lot better and there is no reflected light (moneysaving to as I no longer need the small light on the desk).
I have a very busy week this week so I'd better get on
