Glad this week started with the kitchen as that was the one I got my star for last week and also following my stardrops afternoon, it meant that today wasn't too bad at all.

    Monday - done :D

Haven't read many of the posts yet - think maybe last week spent more time reading them than actually flying :embarasse

Thanks to pigpen, soappie & toots for such a good and well organised forum :T and thanks to everyone else for making everyone feel welcome.

Just couldn't read and run - even if off topic.

Hugs to Jo, and very best wishes for your Mum. I can absolutely reassure you that insurance companies are fantastic in these circumstances, and the hospital and treatment are almost certainly way better than she would receive here.

froddington - huge hugs for you too. Candle lit for Joseph.

    Back tomorrow...

Okay, that's 10 items ebay listed (I have to give up now, as it's so bloomin' tedious ... does anyone know a sneaky faster way than the go slow sell method!!!). There's a couple of 'watchers' already. To reach target, I need each item to make an average of £2.93, as most of it's designer clothes, I'm not sure it will manage this as apparently these aren't doing very well at the moment.

Tray of Twinks all done (erm, and some decluttered already)

Every item of clothing / bedding in the house washed, dried and ironed (even the clothes I changed out of earlier before going to see nurse!!!!

One of the two coats washed, and now drip drying over the cat!!!! (she chose to sit there!)

Need to go and make the lunches for tomorrow, but after that, it's me time finally.

Night all and big hugs all round (plus special prayers for Joseph and his family)x

I'm a bit gutted not to have been able to do todays challenge - if i do two days tomorrow can i still get todays star? I've got gallstones and had a flair up today so i've jsut been sat trying to get comfy for most of the day. I've been to my gp tonight and he has changed the medication i get for IBS and has given me a referal to the surgeon - i see him at the end of February and will literally beg him to give me the op. Has anyone else got them or had them? What can i do to get through next three weeks with this pain. I've had them for 7 years - first feeling them when i got pregnant with my daughter - but only found out I had them in November of last year. Since then i've lived with the pain but I'm fed up of acting tough now I can't cope with it any more.

    Sending <<hugs>> to Keggie x

I've had them but it wasn't diagnosed for ages i was back and for the Dr's for over a year. The Dr didn't believe me when i said i thought it was gallstones and said it was probably indigestion. That night i had a really bad attack, OH was just coming to the end of his reign as Chairman of the local council so we were out for his fairwell dinner when i had a really bad attack and collapsed in front of a whole pub full of people who thought i was drunk:o. I was taken to A & E where they told me it was gallstones within minutes. I stayed in hospital as i had a kidney infection as well and had my gallbladder out 2 weeks later. The only time i went any length of time without an attack was when i was on a diet so a really low fat diet is probably your best bet coupled with strong painkillers when you get an attack. When you see the surgeon make sure you stress how much pain you're in and how it's affecting your life. I can't begin to imagine what it's like to have it for 7 years.

Big hugs Froddington my thoughts are with you, Joseph and his family.

    Happy Birthday Jjef.

Hi all, wow 7 large pages already! I've got no chance catching up.

    Jjef happy birthday!!!
Poohp I got mine out because I ended up with a liver specialist when they found the lumps in my liver, best thing I ever did but you can get gall stones without a gall bladder. My Dad's recent spell in hospital with septecemia was because of gall stones, evil things they are
Froddy (((huge hugs))) thinking of you and his family and loved ones x x

DS2s hospital appointment went well, caps are done and showing signs of reduced sensitivity already which is great. DS1s decided he wants to try at the mainstream secondary school in September, must admit I'm a little petrified at the thought of it but have set wheels in motion to see if he can. Done todays list....(and made a start on tomorrows)

    CAN I HAVE A STAR PLEASE! :D
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
