Dust and deweb.. make sure you do light fittings and bulbs! do picture rails and coving too if you possess it! That means getting the ladder out... I don't do heights - my ceilings are 9' 6" high - I am going to stubbornly substitute this for doing those light fittings I can reach WITHOUT getting the ladder out... :p

My ceiling are 12ft high.. I can't reach them standing on the ladder!

My plan for a more positive week and some flying has gone to pot ........

One of the pupils at school lost his battle against a range of difficulties at the weekend - would really appreciate thoughts and prayers for Joseph and his parents. I am a bit numb ........

Jo - hugs and prayers for you, your sister and, of course, your mum; glad they know what it is and can treat it. My dad had this a few years ago - it was scary and took a while for him to recover but he is fine and over it all now xxx

Purpletea, franby, miss_lia, tiptoes - welcome

nevaeh - vibes and prayers for you

gotnodosh - hugs and prayers for you and the family

zoe - great news; you sound so excited! Love the wedding favours - what a thoughtful idea

sexymouse - well done for standing up to the Head; hope you hear good news soon x

    jjef - Happy Birthday x

  • I'm a bit gutted not to have been able to do todays challenge - if i do two days tomorrow can i still get todays star? I've got gallstones and had a flair up today so i've jsut been sat trying to get comfy for most of the day. I've been to my gp tonight and he has changed the medication i get for IBS and has given me a referal to the surgeon - i see him at the end of February and will literally beg him to give me the op. Has anyone else got them or had them? What can i do to get through next three weeks with this pain. I've had them for 7 years - first feeling them when i got pregnant with my daughter - but only found out I had them in November of last year. Since then i've lived with the pain but I'm fed up of acting tough now I can't cope with it any more.

    Sending <<hugs>> to Keggie x
