Just a quick reply to sexymouse cos I been thinking about you today.

Glad you stuck to your guns cos your head is obviously a moron! I'm only a humble deputy and even I know the 3 term dates for leaving - Oct 31st for December finish, feb half term for Easter finish and May 31st for summer finish. You can get released from contracts earlier or in between times if the Governors agree but they actually can't stop you if you've given your resignation in by the right time.

If their meeting is on March 3rd then personally I would imagine they will want you to stick it out till Easter which is only 3 weeks after that - but they will have had to put someone in place ready for after Easter by then anyway or they will have too short a turn around to do applications/shortlisting/observations and interviews within that 3 week period iyswim.

    Hello!

Not sure I could cope with keeping up with this thread, if I may, I'll lurk awhile but really had a message for

Tuttifrooti - once you've bleached & rinsed your light pulls, undo the end & thread on a couple of drinking straws and they will take the wear and you strings should stay clean. Or you could use beads if you have any spare. HTH

Hi all, firstly just wanted to send my thoughts out to Jo and her Mum, gotnodosh for the loss of her dear friend and Frodders for dear Joseph and his family xxxxxx

Quickie update, long day, hubby drove me which was nice, saw a very nasty accident which had just happened on the opposite side of the M62 on the way back, very shocking.

Anyway Doc said I was doing too much, usual for Lyme patients to do this as they feel better so push themselves too much....oopsy. I asked why I still couldn't walk far or without a stick and he said its all tied up with the effect (Lyme) disease has on the body, energy and the infection, luckily I've got my faculties back (cognition) so I can deal with my jazzy walking stick and my lumpy, heavy legs.:D

He's taken blood to check for an enzyme, talked at length about the functioning of cellular structure and various elements that are necessary for energy release.

He's also prescribed 2 further antibiotics to take alongside the one I'm on now. He said I'm at a particular stage and we need to prevent relapse. He's a brilliant doctor and took time to explain to hubby why he was doing what he was.

I need to have a shufty re side effects but will try to get the prescription tomorrow.

Bottom line was I'm recovering but no room for complacency and need new set of antibiotic protocol to prevent relapse.

Flying, I bunged chicken carcass and veg in slowcooker for stock before we went.

Made slow roast pork, in oven all day.

    TD X 2

    WM x2

    DW x2

Made packed lunches for all for tomorrow.xxxx

  • Triker glad you got on well and that you have confidence in your specialist - we tried to tell you you were doing too much - you are like me - you feel good so you try to make up for lost time when in fact you are not giving your body a chance to fully recover. I hope the new antibiotics dont give you any nasties and do the trick to protect you - please pace yourself as much as possible - love and hugs
