I am totally concious of this happening by people reaching into bags but never realised they zip open bags - unbelieveable!)
and in future I might use the zip pocket in my bag, zip the purse in then zip it again.
Or I might just get a ferret and keep it in the bag...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Wow, you have 4 kids and you look so good!
I am impressed. Maybe if I get 2 more kids, my looks will improve..she is thinking, bitting on a finger... nah, I don't think it works this way.;)
Massage was great. Came home full of beans and cooked chicken katsu carry (bought a kit in Sanisburys the other day). Presentation 5 out of 5, taste 4 out of 5. room for improvement though... love it:D:D

Can I use wrinkly apples for anything?
Search for the best mince pies pastry ever ... and instead of using mince meat in the pastry cases, just chop up your wrinklies, sprinkle with a touch of cinnamon and brown sugar and off you go ... you can make as many as spare apples you have (3 pies = 1 medium apple roughly)0 -

I think you should 'officially' join us sandy71 even if you are mostly lurking so will be putting your name on the list of newcomers this week and sending you a pm shortly
Sorry, I didn't know I had to join:o Hope it's ok. I'm just too gobby:D
I have lurked a lot, I know I wil struggle to get everything done. Don't feel good at the best of times but with only one working arm I am struggling more than ever at the moment.
Today I managed to declutter the bookshelf in the sitting room, declutter the dog and blitz the kitchen. Best I could manage but i'm hoping if I keep chipping away it will eventually be easier to keep on top of.;)Sealed Pot Challenge Member NO. 853 :j0 -
Just thought i'd pop in and say hi to you all and hope everyone ok. Hope to be back soon once I've got rid of the big black dog thats following me round.
Big hugs to you all
Kaz xMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Hugs for Kazmeister, and curses for the dreaded BD.
Valli, i dont do handbags, but the chain sounds good to me.
sandy- I am all for decluttering the dog. If anypne wants a year old sheepdog I am all ears- happily swap for a ginger cat of any age.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
ceebeeby is it Sundrum? http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/sites/details.asp?revid=2384 This time it will be an overnight stay I think but we were on about combining future visits with hols as I think it'll be a yearly check after first assessments so that will come in handy. We're probably going in February this time if Ian can fit us in, but could plan it over Easter for next time taking our tourer up
thanks for that, I then would just need a local kennels for the assessment day.
Dusty after reading that, I'd have a chat with him including the fact he wants to be a police driver or if you have a friend who is a police officer ask them to have a chat with himI've also had friends accused of driving wrecklessly when they were not, so know how that feels too. I think based on all our experiences you're going to get such a mixed bag of responses and as always need to go with what you feel is right.
kazm ((squishy ones)) and kicks for the BD x
Two loads of laundry on airers and radiators, I like that timer function, never used it before but means washing got done just before I got in and wasn't sat wet in the machine while I was out. Might use it when I am out and DP is home more often. One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
The police station had a box of 'purse chains' for attaching purses TO your bag...(they're free - I now have one
)
and in future I might use the zip pocket in my bag, zip the purse in then zip it again.

Soappie Is your DSok after his accident. Glad he managed to get his phone replaced.
Yes, he's fine. He showed me a nice scrape on his arm (more a friction type scrape than anything) and described (rather than showed!) the large bruised area on his hip/thigh but he's fine. Nothing broken. I think he was a bit embarassed as the pupils were about.
One of them asked him, apparently "Ooooh - did that hurt Sir?". I think he had to struggle to remember he wasn't allowed to swear at them! And what was funny, whilst we were in Soton, just strolling along the pedestrian area, some kid walked past and said "Hello Sir!". DS was most surprised to see one of the pupils so far from home!Dustykitten wrote: »Soappie - how did your DD get on with XBF, is she ok?
Sorry, I forgot to update on that. DD and XBF had their chat and said their goodbyes. They've agreed it's best not to get in touch with each other again. That's what happened the last two times they broke up. They got in touch then started seeing each other again. She's coping and knows it's the right decision. She's fortunate in that she has a good circle of female friends she's known for years and hasn't ignored when she's been in a relationship so she's still got a social life. She's gone off out just now for dinner at the home of one of them.
I have made some community related phone calls and sent some emails and I'm flagging fast. I need to go finish unpacking the shopping and then feed the animals. The cats are sitting here yowling at me at the moment!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
