Why can't I see avatars? I want to know what Mrs B looks like!

Mumof2 - Did your survey - agree with whoever it was that said do a fixed price for a bag of 20 items, that would really appeal to me. Personally I think life is too short to iron bedlinen - but that might change when I have more time!

Grateful & Rosepink - Yes, I will do the red and purple, I like it too. I'm going with a bunch of size 10s who all usually dress from Next...they are mostly wearing strapless chiffon numbers, so I think that's what has made me waver! DH will be wearing a kilt, so they may think him odd too!

CBA today. However, DH has made bread and done 2 loads of washing, so I ought to show willing really...I'll go and do a HHC and try and get my second star!

Mrs B - how could you change your avatar! now I'll never see it:p

Grateful - why don't you refuse all conjugals until DH sees a doctor. That might motivate him:rotfl:

Pigeon and chicken innards? I think I'll skip lunch with you this week GB if you don't mind!!:rotfl:
    :p:p
I hope these builders are friends as well, otherwise you are being too kind to them! Mine get shown where the tea and coffee and biscuit tin are and thats it!
They are - I've known the father since I was 3 and he was 18. They come down from Norfolk for a week at a time and stay. It means they work pretty much 8 till 8, eat, sleep and start again the next day. They're arriving at 7am on Monday (so leaving around 4am!) so I expect they'll be asleep by the time I get in!

Just realised that I've got loads of mushrooms, so I'll make a mushroom risotto that they can reheat and have with spinach & peas. If they don't like mushrooms they'll have to have soup & cheese at lunch and cold lamb & pittas for supper...

Study tidy is going OK... Hopefully I'll get all my vases and quite a few of my cake tins in before I sort out the airbed.

Too right they aren't. They've got a longish list of stuff to do this time, and they're also going to give the whole place a thorough check so that we can plan in the rest of the stuff (decorating, painting outside of window frames, landscaping the garden etc)... hopefully for when I'm travelling ;). The only irritating thing is that they're hopeless at quoting and sending out bills... then again, I don't have to pay them till I've got the money (I tried to incentivise them by pointing out that it takes me 3 months to get the money out... didn't work... :rotfl:)

OK... must move. Lunch (smoked mackeral and couscous salad) has been eaten, and if I don't get on and do stuff I'll end up listening to any answers which makes me want to throw things at the radio :o
